  • Patent number: 6345174
Abstract: A display panel includes a plurality of alphanumeric segment display elements. A display control circuit controls a plurality of the alphanumeric segment display elements in accordance with either of frequency data or equalizing characteristic data supplied from an audio apparatus mounded on the vehicle. The display control circuit operates a plurality of the alphanumeric segment display elements either to display digits of the frequency data in response to the frequency data or to display a spectrum characteristic waveform over a plurality of the alphanumeric segment display elements in response to the equalizing characteristic data, so that equalizer characteristic is selectively displayed on the alphanumeric segment display elements originally provided for displaying the receiving frequency.

  • Patent number: 4365340
Abstract: This disclosure relates to an X-ray photographing apparatus both for photographing the entire jaws and for cephalographic use. The apparatus is constructed in such a manner that, in setting the generator in any direction either for cephalographic use or for use in photographing the entire jaws, the X-ray generator is automatically vertically rotated through a specified angle and is enabled to make simple and correct change in the direction of irradiation by providing the X-ray generator mounted horizontally and vertically rotatably at one end of a rotary arm with a sliding element, providing the arm with an inclined guide groove for guiding the element therein, and merely rotating the generator horizontally through a specified angle.

  • Patent number: 4286161
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a film cassette drive mechanism in a dental radiographic apparatus for photographing the entire jaws which apparatus is used in tomography. The drive mechanism is of such construction that a film cassette disposed at one end of a rotary arm of the apparatus in an opposed relation with respect to an X-ray source disposed at the other end thereof is moved to feed a film necessary for tomography by driving a variable speed motor inside the cassette holder in synchronism with the speed of travel of the X-ray source responsive to the rotation of the rotary arm.

  • Patent number: 3943629
Abstract: A training machine for intra-oral instrumentation for dental treatment which comprises a plate carrying an electrically conductive path on the surface thereof; an imitation dental instrument with an imitation dental tool detachably attached thereto, so that a trainee traces said conductive path with said tool; and means for measuring the time during which said conductive path is being traced with said tool. A shield is attachable to the machine so that the trainee can look at the pattern of the conductive path either directly without the shield or only through a mirror with the shield attached to the machine.
