Abstract: An object of the invention is to provide a waist adjusting device, in which the number of components is reduced, an assembly thereof is not necessary because of its simple structure so as to achieve reduction of production cost and the adjustment operation is very simple. An adjusting belt has a multiplicity of adjusting protrusions on the surface thereof and a slider has a through portion which the adjusting belt can be passed through in the right and left direction. Engaging protrusions which are capable of engaging the adjusting protrusions, when the adjusting belt is passed through an upper section of the through portion, are provided on both sides of an inner face of a through hole provided on a rear plate thereof. Attaching holes whose inner side is expanded are provided in a surface plate and a fixing device has two attaching posts, which are inserted into the attaching holes and fixed by crushing, at a rear face of a cap.

Abstract: The present invention provides a hook for clothes, wherein a male member is unlikely to escape from a female member when the male member engages with the female member and which can be attached on clothes easily by means of an automatic machine.

Abstract: In an attachment structure for attaching a fastener member to the wrist of a glove body, a first attachment is to be mounted on and along an open edge of the glove wrist and has a plurality of longitudinally arranged socket holes, and a second attachment is to be mounted on and along an edge of the fastener member and has a locking portion to be removably fitted in the respective socket holes to be engageable with a locking hole of the first attachment. The fastener member can be attached to the glove body by snap action as the locking portion of the second attachment is inserted into the respective socket hole of the first attachment.

Abstract: A cord retainer comprising an outer tube, a slide, and a plug. The slide has a cord insertion hole and a pair of legs. The outer tube has a pair of horizontal cord insertion holes and in its inside surface a number of guide grooves; some guide grooves have each an aligning engagement portion while the remaining guide grooves have each a holding engagement portion. The plug has a number of locking strips, some of which have each at its upper end an aligning projection and at its base a holding projection while the remaining locking strips have each at its upper end a holding projection. The plug further has a cam surface as an inside surface an insertion portion. In use, the plug is inserted into the tube from the lower end until each aligning projection comes into engagement with the respective aligning engagement portion, and the slide is inserted into the tube from the upper end until the hole of slide is aligned with the holes of the tube, facilitating threading a cord through the slide and the tube.

Abstract: A buckle for fastening loose ends of a strap or the like comprises a male or plug member and a female or socket member releasably engageable therewith. The plug member includes an elastically deformable locking arm and a retaining lug underlying and supporting the arm when the latter undergoes elastic deformation upon engagement with an engaging surface formed in the socket member. The locking arm has an elongated arcuate cavity for snapping engagement with a complementarily shaped engaging surface in the socket member to ensure stable coupling of the two members.

Abstract: A cord tightening device comprises a case having a pair of front and rear plates and a pair of opposite lateral walls interconnecting the front and rear plates and having forwardly converging inner surfaces defining a small-width opening at one end thereof and a large-width opening at the other end thereof, and a sliding member slidably disposed inside the case and having pressing parts formed on opposite lateral surfaces thereof and adapted to press a cord against the opposite lateral walls of the case. The cord tightening device is provided on at least one sliding surface of either one of said case and said sliding member taken as a set with a sliding groove and on at least one sliding surface of the remaining member of the set with a sliding protrusion fit for insertion into said sliding groove.

The retainer means is normally urged upwardly by a coil spring and serves as a fulcrum about which the plug member and the socket member can be moved rotatably relative to each other.

Abstract: A buckle comprises a plug including a protuberant arm having first engaging means; and a socket adapted to be releasably coupled with the plug. The lower wall of the socket has a cantilevered engaging flap provided on its inner surface thereof and having second engaging means for snapping engagement with the first engaging means for coupling of the plug and the socket. The upper wall of the socket has a cantilevered resilient presser flap overhanding the cantilevered engaging flap and being yieldable downwardly to thus depress the resilient engaging flap, thereby bringing the second locking means out of engagement with the first engaging means of the protuberant arm for uncoupling the plug from the socket. The buckle further includes a locking plate slidably mounted on the presser flap for reciprocation between its locking position and its unlocking position.

Abstract: A method of making an injection-molded slide fastener slider includes a first injection-molding step for forming a slider body having an integral arch-shaped support lug and a second injection-molding step for forming a pull tab threaded through a transverse hole in the support lug. For pivotal connection of the pull tab with the support lug, a mold used for achieving the method includes a combination of a main slide core and an auxiliary slide core slidably associated therewith. In the first injection-molding step, the auxiliary slide core is held in a first position in which the two slide cores jointly have a shape corresponding to the shape of the transverse hole while blocking fluid communication between first and second mold cavities in which the slider body and a body of the pull tab are formed respectively.
