  • Patent number: 4730314
Abstract: A state analysis section which loads first input data into a first data memory for each change in state of the data and a timing analysis section which loads second input data into a second data memory with a fixed period are provided. The loading intervals of the first input data are measured by a data interval measuring circuit and each measured data loading interval is stored in a data loading interval memory. When the first and second input data are detected to match preset data in first and second trigger detectors, respectively, the detected outputs are delayed by first and second delay means, and by the outputs of the first and second delay means, the first and second data memories are stopped from the data loading thereinto. The time difference between the stopping of the data loading into both the data memories is measured by a time difference measuring circuit and the measured time difference is stored in a time difference memory.

  • Patent number: 4698980
Abstract: An apparatus for controlling a vehicle air conditioner having a speed setting mechanism interconnected to the output shaft of an actuator for turning an air mixing shutter so as to switch the blower between low and high speed operations. The cam mechanism has the first rotary part interlocked to the output shaft of the actuator and a response part in response to the rotary part to turn the air mixing shutter. When the output shaft is turned within a predetermined rotary range c set narrower that the entire rotary range of the output shaft, the air mixing shutter can be turned between full cooler and heater positions. The speed setting mechanism brings the blower to a low speed operation when the rotary angle of the output shaft falls within the rotary range c and to a high speed operation when the rotary angle of the output shaft falls outside the rotary range c.

  • Patent number: 4654848
Abstract: Logic data (input data) is sequentially supplied to a data memory using sampling pulses and the input data is written into the data memory at an address specified by an address signal from an address counter which advances by one upon each occurrence of the sampling pulse. The input data and an output trigger word from a trigger word register are compared by a trigger word detector, and when coincidence is detected therebetween, a coincidence signal is generated, which signal is delayed by a delay circuit by a value corresponding to output delay data from a delay register. The delayed output is provided as a stop signal. By the stop signal the address counter is preset to a leading address of a storage area of the data memory into which data is to be stored and the next trigger word is provided from the trigger register. Further, the next delay data is provided from a delay register and the next store number is output from a store-number register.

  • Patent number: 4259607
Abstract: A structure of an electrode film deposited on a tuning fork-type quartz crystal vibrator in which an electrode film on a tuning fork-type quartz crystal vibrator has a laminated structure obtained by forming, in the order mentioned, three overlapping layers, namely layers of chrome, nickel and silver, or two overlapping layers, namely layers of nickel and silver, on the surface of a tuning fork-shaped quartz crystal from the side nearest thereto, and in which the thickness of each layer of the electrode film is less than 300 A for the chrome layer, less than 500 A for the nickel layer, and less than 2000 A for the silver layer.

  • Patent number: 4239040
Abstract: A capsule for discharging drugs into a live body or collecting samples from the body comprises an external cylinder having slidably mounted therein an internal cylinder. The internal cylinder is retained by a meltable thread at one end of the external cylinder against the biasing force of a compression spring and upon melting of the thread, the spring effects sliding of the internal cylinder to the other end of the external cylinder and during this sliding movement, a drug is pushed out of the external cylinder ahead of the moving internal cylinder or a body sample is withdrawn into the external cylinder behind the moving internal cylinder. An electric circuit including a tunable receiver responds to an externally transmitted electric signal to energize a heater for melting the thread to thereby effect sliding movement of the internal cylinder at the desired time.

  • Patent number: 4196076
Abstract: This invention concerns the method of separation of Co from Ni in an aqueous solution containing Co from Ni salts, with an organic solvent containing 2-ethylhexyl phosphonic acid mono-2-ethylhexyl ester and/or 3,5,5-trimethylhexyl phosphonic acid mono-3,5,5-trimethylhexyl ester and/or isodecyl phosphonic acid monoisodecyl ester as an effective extractant for the separation of Co from Ni, the method which requires fewer stages in the solvent extraction equipment and less organic solvent than the conventional method, and which can very effectively separate Co from Ni in high purity and in high yield. The continuous separation of Co from Ni according to this invention enables the separation of Co with purity above 99% in a yield above 99% and Ni with purity above 99% in a yield above 99%.

  • Patent number: 4092445
Abstract: A process is disclosed for forming a porous region in a semiconductor device. In the process, a region of a relatively high impurity concentration is formed at a desired region of a semiconductor body of a lower impurity concentration. The semiconductor body is dipped into an electrolyte along with an electrode. The electrode is connected to the semiconductor body, whereby the high impurity concentration region is converted into a porous region.

  • Patent number: 4026913
Abstract: A novel cyanic acid ester of an aromatic polycarbonate can be prepared by reacting an aromatic polycarbonate having one or two terminal hydroxyl groups with a cyanogen halide in an inert solvent at a temperature of -30.degree. to +65.degree. C in the presence of a base. Said cyanic acid ester and an admixture of said cyanic acid ester with other known cyanic acid ester, both of which may or may not contain a catalyst and/or other polymers are available for a coating material, a casting material, an adhesive or a molding material. When said cyanic acid ester or said admixture is cured, there is obtained a laminate, a film or a molded article. The cured products are rich in flexibility.
