  • Publication number: 20100309299
Abstract: An input of one of a plurality of combinations of wavelength components that have been set in advance is received. Further, a spectral estimation image signal obtainment mode and a narrow-band image signal obtainment mode are switched therebetween based on the combination of wavelength components that has been received to obtain a spectral estimation image signal or a narrow-band image signal.

  • Publication number: 20100312058
Abstract: When a wavelength set for a spectral estimation image is set through an input means, ON/OFF of light emitting devices is controlled based on the set wavelength set. Further, an endoscopic image of a subject illuminated with light of a predetermined wavelength band or bands is obtained by a scope. Matrix operation is performed on the endoscopic image to generate the spectral estimation image.

  • Publication number: 20100256449
Abstract: Lightness and/or imaging magnification during imaging of an endoscopic image is detected. Further, a wavelength set for a spectral estimation image and matrix parameter are automatically selected based on the lightness and/or the imaging magnification. Further, the spectral estimation image is generated by performing matrix operation on the endoscopic image by using the matrix parameter.

  • Publication number: 20080052174
Abstract: A customer of an eating house orders refreshments by pressing a first touch panel provided at a customer's seat, watching a liquid-crystal monitor on which a menu of the refreshment and an average cooking time thereof are displayed. A cook inputs cooking-state information with a second touch panel provided in a kitchen when cooking is started and is completed. The cooking-state information is displayed on the liquid-crystal monitor so that it is possible to confirm a cooking state of the ordered refreshment. When the ordered refreshment is untouched, the customer can cancel or urge the refreshment by pressing the first touch panel. Upon instructing a check with the first touch panel, the check is printed out from a printer. The customer can order, cancel and urge the refreshments without calling a waitperson.

  • Patent number: 7139493
Abstract: A cartridge is set in a printer main unit, and has a remaining toner measurer which measures toner in a toner chamber upon setting of the cartridge. A cartridge memory stores information of a remaining toner amount measured previously. CPU compares the remaining toner amount measured newly with the remaining toner amount measured previously and read from the cartridge memory. If there is an increase in the toner, the cartridge is determined as improper cartridge reloaded with the toner. An alarm signal is generated. Also, printing is inhibited. In another preferred embodiment, shortage information is assigned to the cartridge upon using up the toner. The cartridge, if it has the shortage information, is determined as improper. If a characteristic of the toner is not within a reference range, the cartridge is determined improper. In another preferred embodiment, an upper limit of the number of times of toner reloading is predetermined.
