  • Patent number: 7742300
Abstract: An audio-integrated apparatus has a body casing attached in an instrument panel of a vehicle. The body casing contains a media reader, a circuit board having a CPU, a CPU fan for cooling the CPU, and an exhaust fan. A media loading slot is in a front face of the body casing for inserting a media. A movable display section is in front of the body casing to be movable in a back-and-forth direction. A display movement mechanism can move the movable display section in the back-and-forth direction to thereby change an inclination against the front face of the body casing. A gear motor can detect a position of the movable display section. According to the detected position of the movable display section, rotational frequencies of the CPU fan and the exhaust fan are controlled.

  • Patent number: 7606027
Abstract: An electronic apparatus includes a circuit board, circuit elements mounted on the circuit board, and a cooling structure for cooling the circuit elements. The circuit elements include a heat generating element. The cooling structure includes a heat spreader, cooling fins integrally formed with the heat spreader, an air inlet, an air outlet, and a fan device for generating cooling air flowing from the air inlet to the air outlet. The heat spreader is placed above the circuit board and thermally joined to the heat generating element mounted on the circuit board. The cooling fins extend toward the circuit board to provide a plurality of air passages between the circuit board and the heat spreader. The air inlet and outlet communicate with each other through the air passages.

  • Patent number: 5090728
Abstract: An apparatus for controlling a damping force of a shock absorber provided between a wheel of a vehicle and a body thereof includes a road surface condition detecting unit for detecting a roughness of a road surface on which the vehicle is traveling, and a damping force characteristic alteration unit for altering the setting of the damping force of the shock absorber on the basis of the roughness of the road surface detected by the road surface condition detecting unit. The apparatus also includes a damping force detecting unit, for detecting a magnitude of the damping force of the shock absorber, and an alteration speed control unit for controlling, on the basis of the magnitude of the damping force detected by the damping force detecting unit, an alteration speed at which the setting of the damping force is altered so that the alteration speed decreases as the magnitude of the damping force increases.
