  • Publication number: 20200034351
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed and include a node storing a local table and a control module that collects heterogeneous sensor data, tracks objects in an environment of the node, and converts the heterogeneous sensor data into time series data. An object-relational mapping module formats the time series data for direct compatibility to data in a master database of a cloud-based server. A correlation module further formats the time series data to provide resultant data in a single format commonly used by multiple map sources. A first primitive extraction module extracts primitives from the resultant data. An edge computing module generates a first table of data corresponding to the primitives and compatible with a master table of the master database, detects a changed primitive, uploads the changed primitive to the cloud-based server, receives updated data based on the changed primitive, and updates the local table based on the updated data.

  • Patent number: 8036206
Abstract: In a commutation system, a data packet is transmitted and received by radio among radio communication apparatuses. In the communication system, the data packet is started to be transmitted on a transmission right acquired on contention type access control in response to a transmission request for the data packet. It is detected that there is a predetermined state in which the transmission request is generated during or after reception of a long packet which is over a given packet length. When the predetermined state is detected, a start timing of the access control is shifted to a timing at which a desired delay time passes after completing reception of the long packet. One example is that an elapse time from a start of reception of the long packet to generation of the transmission request is measured and, as the desired delay time, a period of time calculated by multiplying the measured elapse time by a specified coefficient is set.

  • Publication number: 20100198459
Abstract: Application data generated by an ECU is wireless transmitted by a transmission device in a subject vehicle so as to periodically change a communications distance by changing, every transmission timing, at least one of (i) a transmission rate, which is used in transforming a transmission packet into a transmission signal in a modulation section, and (ii) a transmission power, which is configured by an amplification section to amplify the transmission signal. As a result, the data transmission from the subject vehicle can be made (i) in high repetition times with respect to a nearby vehicle having a greater risk of collision (i.e., time to collision being shorter), and (ii) in low repetition times with respect to a distant vehicle having a less risk of collision (i.e., time to collision being longer).

  • Patent number: 7416135
Abstract: A first metal plate for transmission and a second metal plate for transmission are closely-attached to a first surface and a second surface of a dielectric body, respectively. An outer edge of the first metal plate substantially symmetrically faces an outer edge of the second metal plate via the dielectric body. A metal plate for matching is arranged inside a hole formed on the second metal plate, with a slit formed with an inner wall of the hole, and is fixed to the dielectric body. The metal plate for matching is electrically connected to the first metal plate via a through hole penetrating the dielectric body. An IC chip is surface-mounted to connect the second metal plate with the metal plate for matching.

  • Patent number: 7382737
Abstract: Fragment data is generated with respect to a certain data aggregate that is one of a plurality of data aggregates using a coded matrix. The fragment data is capable of restoring the certain data aggregate based on the coded matrix when the fragment data is collected to a required count. The generated fragment data is provided with an identification code associated with the certain data aggregate restored by the fragment data. The fragment data having the identification code is transmitted to a transmission channel. Further, the same transmission channel can be used to transmit the multiple pieces of the fragment data corresponding to the multiple data aggregates. When a receiving party is previously notified of the identification code, it can receive the fragment data by distinguishing which fragment data should restore which data aggregate.

  • Patent number: 7330161
Abstract: An antenna comprises a first conductive layer, a second conductive layer and an LC resonance circuit. The first conductive layer has plural elements and is disposed adjacently to each other. The second conductive layer is disposed at a predetermined distance from the first conductive layer via a dielectric substrate. The LC resonance circuit comprises connection for electrically connecting the elements and the second conductive layer. The LC resonance circuit takes a resonance state in which impedance becomes high in the operating frequency of the antenna. Of the plural elements, a power feeding section is provided in each of any two adjacent elements. Power is fed to the power feeding sections during transmission so that signals of the operating frequency are opposite in phase, and signals of the operating frequency inputted to the antenna are outputted in opposite phase from the power feeding sections during reception.

  • Publication number: 20070090925
Abstract: A radio communication system includes: a communication control device; a radio tag for communicating with the communication control device; an antenna for transmitting an incident wave; and a first reflective plate for reflecting the incident wave as a first reflected wave. The radio tag is disposed between the antenna and the first reflective plate. The radio tag communicates with the communication control device in a region, in which the incident wave and the first reflected wave are overlapped. The first reflective plate reflects the incident wave in such a manner that the first reflected wave has a polarization different from a polarization of the incident wave.

  • Patent number: 7206299
Abstract: A terminal has a radio device TD1 for connection by radio communication, a terminal router CR1, and terminal segment C.1. The radio device TD1 uses a temporary terminal address while being connected to the same base transceiver station segment B.x. In the terminal segment C.1, an application uses a constant terminal specific address. The terminal router CR1 informs a base transceiver station gateway, which relays the communication data and exchange the path information with the data relay devices on the Internet, of the path information that the data communication to the terminal specific address goes through the temporary terminal address.

  • Patent number: 7145518
Abstract: A multiple-frequency common antenna has a first substrate sheet and a second substrate sheet respectively structured by an HIP consisting of a metal plate, small metal plates disposed in two dimensions and linear metal bars connecting these elements. The antenna restricts propagation of surface currents of the first and second frequency bands which are not overlapping with each other. An inverse L-shape antenna and a monopole antenna which are fed with a center conductor and an external conductor of the coaxial line respectively operate as the antenna on the first substrate sheet in the first frequency band and second frequency band. The second substrate sheet does not propagate the radiated wave of the monopole antenna, thereby avoiding unwanted re-radiation.
