  • Patent number: 11944999
Abstract: A vibration device includes a bimorph type piezoelectric element having a first main surface and a second main surface facing each other and a vibration member bonded to the second main surface of the piezoelectric element. The piezoelectric element has a first active region disposed closer to the first main surface between the first and second main surfaces and a second active region disposed closer to the second main surface than the first active region between the first and second main surfaces. When a force generated in the first active region is F1, a force generated in the second active region is F2, and a force by which the vibration member restrains the second active region is Fr, F2?F1?Fr is satisfied.

  • Patent number: 8683843
Abstract: A spinning method for forming pipe bodies of varying diameter. In the spinning method, when a necked portion is formed at the end of the pipe material by the spinning method, working rollers are restricted so as to return immediately before the pipe end instead of being allowed to axially move beyond the end of the working object pipe. The amount of diameter reduction at the pipe end is set to be smaller than that of the most diameter reduced portion connecting to the pipe end. A protruding portion of a so-called bellmouth shape is formed at the working end, thereby preventing generation of fractures originating at the working end of the base portion or the welded portion and generation of wrinkles during the spinning process.

  • Patent number: 5747111
Abstract: A Zn-Mg binary coating layer formed on a steel sheet has the tri-layered structure that the first sublayer composed of a Zn-Mg alloy having Mg concentration of 0.5 wt. % or less, the second sublayer composed of a Zn-Mg alloy having Mg concentration of 7 wt. % or more and the third sublayer composed of a Zn-Mg alloy having Mg concentration of 0.5 wt. % or less are successively laminated. The coating layer may have the penta-layered structure wherein sublayers composed of a Zn-Mg alloy having Mg concentration of 2-7 wt. % are additionally interposed between the high-Mg and low-Mg sublayers. A Zn-Fe or Zn-Fe-Mg alloy layer may be formed at the boundary between the substrate steel and the coating layer. The adhesion ratio of the first sublayer to the top sublayer is preferably 1.2 or more, while the high-Mg sublayer is preferably conditioned to the mixed structure of a Zn.sub.2 Mg phase with a Mg-dissolved Zn phase.

  • Patent number: 5539902
Abstract: A vector data processing apparatus having a set of vector registers, one or more memory access pipelines, and one or more composite calculation pipelines, wherein the vector registers consist of a plurality of banks, and each bank is independently accessible. Each of the pipelines can cyclically access each of the banks of the vector registers when one or more of a predetermined number of time slots, through each of which time slots the access is carried out, are assigned to an instruction using the pipeline. Immediately when a memory access instruction is received, a vector unit control circuit, which controls operations of the vector data processing apparatus, assigns a time slot for a newly-detected memory access instruction using a memory access pipeline, if it is determined that the memory access pipeline is available based on the pipeline operation status flags, and that the time slot is available based on the detected status of the predetermined number of time slots.

  • Patent number: 5001627
Abstract: A multiprocessor control system adapted to a multiprocessor system includes a switching circuit, a control stage circuit, a switching mode setting circuit, and a switching control circuit. The switching circuit selectively switches a second group of instructions supplied from first execution units to select the second group of instructions relating to one of the first execution units. The control stage circuit includes a plurality of register stages used for controlling a pipeline process. The control stage circuit sequentially stores the second group of instructions relating to the selected one of the first execution units in the register stages and outputs, for every register stage, a state indicating signal indicating state information regarding the corresponding register stage. The switching mode setting circuit generates a mode setting signal used for selecting one of a plurality of switching modes each defining a timing with which switching by the switching circuit occurs.
