  • Publication number: 20210245575
Abstract: An airflow generating device includes an airflow generating portion, a duct, and a controller. The airflow generating portion is configured to generate an airflow. The duct is configured to guide the airflow to a blowing outlet through which the airflow is blown out toward a passenger in a vehicle cabin. The controller is configured to cause the airflow to be intermittently blown out through the blowing outlet by controlling a frequency of a pulse voltage applied to the air flow generating portion and a duty ratio of a pulse width to a pulse period of the pulse voltage. The controller is configured to control the duty ratio and the frequency of the voltage such that the airflow is blown out through the blowing outlet at a speed between a predetermined lower limit, inclusive, and a maximum lower limit, non-inclusive, which is greater than the lower limit.

  • Publication number: 20210046806
Abstract: A blowing device includes a passage member and a passage switching device. The passage member is inserted into an air passage configured to blow a main air into the vehicle cabin. The passage member is configured to blow an added-value air. The passage member includes, in the air passage, a passage opening portion through which the added-value air is blown toward a passenger separately from the main air. The passage member defines a hole portion and the passage switching device is a damper or a rotary door. The damper or the rotary door closes the hole portion to allow the added-value air to flow out through the passage opening portion and fluidly connects the hole portion to the air passage to allow the main air to flow out through both the passage opening portion and a region of the air passage other than the passage opening portion.

  • Patent number: 8642975
Abstract: To prevent a reduction in an amount of an ion emission while preventing generation of electromagnetic noise. A high-voltage generating circuit section (2) that supplies a high voltage to an ion generating element (1) that generates ions is housed in a housing (3), and sealed with filled resin (22). An emission port (12) for emitting the generated ions is formed in the housing (3), and an outer surface of the housing except the emission port is covered with a shield case (30). A passage port (33) communicating with the emission port is formed in the shield case. A periphery of the passage port of the shield case is covered with an electrically insulating covering sheet (36) so that emitted ions do not adhere to the shield case. The ions emitted from the emission port do not adhere to the shield case covered with the covering sheet.

  • Publication number: 20060225875
Abstract: An interior of an air conditioning case is partitioned into a first air passage extending from an inside air suction port to a foot opening portion and a second air passage extending from an outside air suction port is disposed at a side of the first air passage to detect a temperature of air blown out from the evaporator disposed in the first air passage and the second air passage. An operation of the compressor for supplying the refrigerant to the evaporator is intermitted by comparing the temperature detected by the temperature sensor and the set temperature set in advance, and the set temperature is changed to be higher according to an increase in the temperature of outside air. In this way, it is possible to prevent the frosting of the evaporator in winter season, when the inside air is introduced into the first air passage and the outside air is introduced into the second air passage.

  • Patent number: 6918262
Abstract: An air conditioning system includes an air conditioner for blowing conditioned air toward a compartment of a vehicle, and a dashboard having a design surface exposed to the compartment. An inner air passage extending nearly parallel to the design surface is formed in the dashboard, and a plurality of diffusion blowing openings are formed in the design surface. Thus, the condensed air is blown from the diffusion blowing openings into the compartment of the vehicle, while passing through the inner air passage. For example, cool air is blown from the diffusion blowing openings, so that the cool air can cool the dashboard while cooling the compartment of the vehicle. Moreover, because the cool air passes through the inner air passage extending nearly parallel to the design surface, the dashboard can be effectively cooled.

  • Patent number: 6877550
Abstract: In a vehicle air conditioner, an evaporator is disposed at an upper side of a blower approximately horizontally so that air blown by the blower passes through the evaporator from below upwardly. The evaporator is slightly tilted from a horizontal surface by a predetermined angle, and the blower is disposed in such a manner that air is mainly blown by the blower toward the evaporator in a direction substantially parallel to a tangential line at a scroll finish portion of the scroll casing. Accordingly, condensed water on a bottom heat-exchanging surface of the evaporator can be pushed downwardly by component force of the flow of air mainly blown from the blower.
