  • Patent number: 8394480
Abstract: A multilayer type optical information recording medium in which in multilayering of a write-once type optical information recording medium, when a second film is formed using a metallic stamper, a protective layer composed of an inorganic material is free from peeling, is provided. In the multilayer type optical information recording medium including an interlayer, the interlayer is constituted by multiple films of a first film contacting a protective layer and a second film contacting a reflection layer; materials of the first and second films are constituted of materials different from each other; and a peeling resistance of the material of the first film against a material of the protective layer of the first optical information recording layer is higher than that of the second film.

  • Patent number: 7623020
Abstract: A multilayer ceramic electronic component includes a multilayer body, a first internal electrode provided in the multilayer body, and a second internal electrode provided in the multilayer body and facing the first internal electrode. The multilayer body includes a first ceramic layer, a second ceramic layer provided on a first surface of the first ceramic layer, and a third ceramic layer provided on a second surface of the first ceramic layer opposite to the first surface. The first and second internal electrodes are connected to the first ceramic layer. The first ceramic layer contains mainly ZnO and 0 to 15 mol % of SiO2. The second ceramic layer contains mainly ZnO and 15 to 50 mol % of SiO2. The third ceramic layer contains mainly ZnO and 15 to 50 mol % of SiO2; The multilayer ceramic component has a low varistor voltage and a small capacitance.

  • Patent number: 6195876
Abstract: In an electronic component placing apparatus, four magazines are mounted on a head, and yet electronic components are housed in each magazine. In this apparatus, by an operation of selectively inserting a suction nozzle into four insertion openings in the magazines, it is possible to load a desired electronic component on a substrate, and this component loading can be repeatedly performed until the housed components are exhausted.

  • Patent number: 6116840
Abstract: A component supply apparatus includes a rectangular cross-sectional component passage which can house a plurality of chip components in a longitudinal direction, and at a first side surface of the tip of this component passage a rectangular-shaped component discharge opening is formed, and at a second side surface opposing the first side surface of the tip of the component passage a rectangular-shaped pusher insertion opening is formed. Inserting the pusher into the component passage through the pusher insertion opening enables a forefront electronic component to be pushed by the pusher and be discharged outside from the component discharge opening in a predetermined direction.

  • Patent number: 5594406
Abstract: A product and process of making such product in which a varistor is formed by diffusing lead borosilicate-type glass, into a surface of a fired or sintered zinc oxide substrate, i.e., "varistor element," during formation of an electrode on the surface of the substrate. Typically, an electrode paste or material, comprising a mixture or lead borosilicate-type glass frit and Ag powder, is applied to the substrate and provides the lead borosilicate-type glass for diffusing into the substrate. The improvement is that the lead borosilicate-type glass frit for the electrode paste or material comprises a mixture of PbO, B.sub.2 O.sub.3, SiO.sub.
