  • Patent number: 5625941
Abstract: An apparatus for conveying and mounting electronic parts is disclosed, wherein the electronic parts such as semiconductors are mounted onto a printed board (1). A plurality of pallets (6) having trays (5) thereon, said trays (5) receiving a multitude of electronic parts therein respectively, are supported in a state where the trays (5) are superposed on shelf members (35 and 36) provided on a vertical motion frame (34), and the vertical motion frame (34) is vertically movable. The printed board (1) is conveyed to a predetermined part mounting position by belt conveyors (2 and 3). A pallet moving member (15) engaging any one of the pallets (6) is laterally moved with respect to the belt conveyors (2 and 3) between a mounting position where the pallet moving member (15) overlaps the belt conveyors (2 and 3) and a retracted position for returning to the vertical motion frame (34) having the shelf members (35 and 36).

  • Patent number: 5542726
Abstract: A vacuum fixing device for parts, comprising a small pad portion 1 and a large pad portion 2, which are different in diameter from each other and each formed therein with suction paths and provided on one and the same axis, wherein the small pad portion 1 is switched over to the large pad portion 2 or vice versa. When a small part 14 is sucked, a movable shaft 11 of the large pad portion 2 is slid downwardly, and suction is performed through a suction path 3 of a small pad 4 and a suction path 5 of a fixed shaft 7, and, when a large part 15 is sucked, the suction is performed through both suction routes including a route through a suction path 8 of a large pad 9, a suction path 10 of the movable shaft 11, and air paths 6 and a suction path 5 of the fixed shaft, and another route through a suction path 3 of the small pad 4 and a suction path 5 of the fixed shaft 7.

  • Patent number: 5452787
Abstract: Apparatus which transfers parts in a given direction by reciprocating a pair of parts transfer blocks, comprising: two parts transfer blocks (1) and (2); vertical guides (3) and (4) for allowing independent vertical movement of the transfer blocks, a guide (5) for the horizontal movement of transfer blocks (1) and (2); a power transmissions mechanism for reciprocating the transfer blocks (1) and (2) by use of a belt system; and a mechanism (7) for guiding the reciprocating motion of the transfer blocks (1) and (2). When a part (8) is sent out being drawn to and fixed to the vacuum pad (9) of the transfer block (1) and the empty vacuum pad (10) of the other transfer block (2) is returning to interlocking relation to the former transfer block (1), the transfer block (1) in which the part (8) is fixed and the empty transfer block (2) cross each other at different heights.

  • Patent number: 5361963
Abstract: A dispenser for applying creamy solder onto a substrate, comprising: a syringe 1 storing therein creamy solder; a needle 2 fixed at the forward end of this syringe 1; and a driving mechanism 3 using a pulse-controlled stepping motor and an eccentrically rotating drive motion. The driving mechanism 3 comprises: a linear guide 10 for guiding a syringe holder which holds the syringe 1, a stepping motor 11, a crank 13 and a connecting rod 14 rotatably supported on the crank and the syringe holder. When, the stepping motor 11 is rotated by a predetermined angle, the crank 13 and the connecting rod 14 are eccentrically rotated in an interlocking relation to the rotation of this stepping motor, and the syringe 1 is upwardly and downwardly moved within a predetermined range through a syringe holder 9.
