  • Patent number: 7151558
Abstract: In a monitor camera system comprising a monitor camera rotatable through 360 degrees in panning directions and through 90 degrees or more in tilting directions and a control unit for controlling the monitor camera, the monitor camera holds an auto-tracing record including a command sent from the control unit and a time stamp indicative of a reception point of the command on a time base in auto-tracing learning, and reads out the auto-tracing record at implementation of auto-tracing to execute the command in the auto-tracing record at the corresponding point on the time base. With the configuration of the monitor camera system, the monitor camera is made to retain the commands for the auto-tracing implementation, which can prevent a delay of the operation of the monitor camera stemming from a delay in control data transmission.

  • Patent number: 7050093
Abstract: A pivoting unit pivots a video camera at a pivoting speed. The video camera includes a zoom mechanism and a zoom amount signal generation circuit for generating a zoom amount signal. A pivoting speed command signal generating circuit responsive to an operation generates a pivoting speed command signal and a speed controlling circuit controls the pivoting speed in accordance with the zoom amount signal and the pivoting speed command signal. Controlling is made such that the pivoting speed is relatively decreased from the pivoting speed command signal when the zoom amount signal indicates a telephoto side and is relatively increased from the pivoting speed command signal when the zoom signal indicates a wide-angle. A joystick generating the pivoting speed command signal includes two coil springs for generating a reaction force which is made stronger when the operation angle of thereof exceeds a reference. The pivoting speed is also accelerated when the operation angle exceeds the reference.

  • Publication number: 20060009581
Abstract: Provided is a self-bonding insulated wire in which a bonding layer is formed on an insulated wire, wherein the bonding layer is formed by applying a bonding varnish obtained by dissolving a crystalline copolyamide resin having a melting point within a temperature range of 105 to 150° C. and an alcohol-soluble copolyamide resin having a flexural modulus of 1500 MPa or more in a mixed organic solvent containing an alcoholic organic solvent. Because the self-bonding insulated wire of the present invention has a reduced amount of remaining phenolic solvent in its bonding layer, the wire is characterized in that the odor of the phenolic solvent released from the wire and the odor of the phenolic solvent which generates during the fabrication of a deflection yoke coil from the self-bonding insulated wire by means of a coil winder are reduced and that the initial twist of the deflection yoke coil after coiling, heat bonding and press molding is small.

  • Patent number: 6714236
Abstract: To provide a security camera system for displaying a picture so as to easily know a place where an abnormal situation occurs. The security camera system includes a security camera 61 having at least more than one rotation axis and a controller 70 for controlling the security camera 61. The controller 70 is provided with a moving picture detector 80 for detecting a motion from pictures taken by the security camera during an automatic monitoring operation. The controller switches an operation of the security camera from automatic monitoring to still monitoring in the case when the moving picture detector detects a motion from monitored pictures. Therefore, in the case when a suspicious person, fire smoke, or the like is detected in a subject building at night, for example, during an automatic monitoring operation for shooting target monitoring places sequentially, a shooting point of the security camera is fixed there so as to shoot and display an abnormal situation on a monitor screen.
