  • Patent number: 11974312
Abstract: An allocation method for allocating individual downlink data signals to positions on a time axis when a base station transmits the individual downlink data signals to a plurality of terminal stations. The allocation method includes provisionally allocating individual downlink data signals of the individual downlink data signals for terminal stations having long propagation delay times to positions of relatively early timings and provisionally allocating individual downlink data signals of the individual downlink data signal for terminal stations having short propagation delay times to positions of relatively late timings, changing the positions such that, when it is estimated that a collision will occur when receiving response signals transmitted from the terminal stations, it is estimated that a collision will not occur, in the provisionally allocating, and fixing, as the positions of the individual downlink data signals on the time axis, the positions changed in the changing of the positions.

  • Patent number: 8326560
Abstract: A portable electronic apparatus able to suppress a drop of display precision concerning a bearing due to a drop of a detection precision of geomagnetism accompanying non-contact communication by electromagnetic coupling etc. and a calibration method of a geomagnetism sensor are provided. When a non-contact communication function part (111) carries out non-contact communication, processing concerning the calibration of a geomagnetism sensor (110) and processing calculating the bearing after the end of that communication are performed so as to suppress the drop of the display precision concerning the bearing accompanying the non-contact communication.

  • Patent number: 8266808
Abstract: A portable electronic apparatus calibrates a geomagnetism sensor at a suitable timing. When a key is operated in a power-saving mode, the power-saving mode ends, and a detection value of a geomagnetism sensor is calibrated. The calibration is executed in a state where a user tries to view a screen of a display part, therefore the calibration is executed in a state where an angle of housings with respect to the horizontal plane is suitable, and a calculation precision of a bearing is improved. By executing calibration during activation of the navigation application useless calibration is not carried out, and an increase of power consumed is suppressed.

  • Patent number: 8265687
Abstract: A mobile phone or other electronic apparatus capable of displaying a bearing and non-contact communication using electromagnetic waves wherein when detection processing of geomagnetism by a geomagnetism sensor and non-contact communication processing using electromagnetic waves are carried out at the same timing, measures are taken since there is a possibility that the geomagnetism detected by the geomagnetism sensor is not correct due to the influence of the electromagnetic waves. Further, when the detection processing of the geomagnetism by the geomagnetism sensor and the non-contact communication processing using electromagnetic waves are carried out at the same timing, bearing processing based on a detection signal of the geomagnetism sensor is restricted or the non-contact communication processing is restricted.

  • Patent number: 7950160
Abstract: A mobile electronic apparatus capable of effectively preventing erroneous recognition of a bearing (azimuth oz compass direction) by a user, as a correct display of the bearing is correct when the reliability of the display of the bearing is lowered by a change of the usage environment, and a bearing display method of the same, are provided. If a mobile electronic apparatus (100) is mounted on a charger (200) having a speaker (201), while information on a bearing calculated according to geomagnetism detected by a geomagnetic sensor (108) is displayed on a display part (107), updating of the information on the bearing repeated up to them is stopped, and information on a predetermined bearing is continuously displayed on the display part (107). This enables a user to correctly recognize that the information on the bearing displayed on the display part (107) is incorrect, thereby preventing the user from being misled by the unreliable information on the display part (107).

Further, when a key of a key input part (103) is operated in a power-saving mode, the power-saving mode ends, and the processing concerning the calibration of a detection value of a geomagnetism sensor (110) is executed. Due to this, the processing concerning the calibration is executed in a state where a user tries to view a screen of a display part (107), therefore the calibration processing is executed in a state where an angle of housings with respect to the horizontal plane is suitable, and a calculation precision of a bearing can be improved.

  • Publication number: 20090132198
Abstract: The influence of a magnetic field on a geomagnetic sensor is detected to report a highly reliable bearing, and a 3D geomagnetic sensor (170A) is arranged at a position facing a magnet (190). An external magnetic field detection processing unit (160) detects the approach of the magnet (190) to the 3D geomagnetic sensor (170A), and uses the unit for detecting opening and closing of the housing. In addition, the unit judges whether there is influence by an external magnetic field according to whether the effect of the magnetic field of the magnet (190) is being felt and reflects this in the report of the bearing information.
