  • Patent number: 7417868
Abstract: In a casing unit for accommodating a printed circuit board, a case has a plurality of walls, one of the walls being partially or entirely open to form an open surface through which the board is inserted into the case. Guides, secured on side walls, comprise two guide protruding members each formed to protrude from the side walls and positioned to partly contact both sides of the board to be inserted into the case, whereby the board is positioned in a planar direction thereof. A cover, applied to the case to cover the open surface of the case, comprises a vertically positioning member positioning the board in a vertical direction, when the cover is applied to the case to cover the open surface, by pinching an end of the board in the vertical direction. The end of the board is located in the open surface of the case.

  • Patent number: 6877490
Abstract: On the condition that a predetermined time has passed after an engine control unit stops its normal engine control operation when the ignition switch of a vehicle is turned off, the control unit can be supplied automatically with operating power to start up and execute an evaporation gas purging diagnosis process for detecting the leakage in the evaporation gas purge system of the vehicle. If the control unit determines that it has started up on the foregoing condition, it inhibits the operation of the electric loads of the vehicle that are needless for the evaporation gas purging diagnosis process. This reliably prevents wasteful power consumption, thereby preventing the battery of the vehicle from running down.

  • Patent number: 4446410
Abstract: A control circuit comprises a switching element connected in series with the coil of an actuator for generating a drive current when rendered conductive. A drive current sensing resistor is coupled in a circuit with the switching element and the coil to develop a first voltage in response to the switching element being rendered conductive. A surge current sensing resistor is coupled in a circuit with the coil through a unidirectionally conducting element to develop a second voltage in response to the switching element being rendered nonconductive. The first and second voltage are amplified and fed to a differential integrator to which an actuator control signal is also applied. The output of the differential integrator is compared with the instantaneous value of a ramp voltage to generate gating pulses applied to the switching element.
