  • Publication number: 20220273089
Abstract: The present invention relates to a warming tool (1) in which a heat generating element (3) is held between a topsheet (5) that faces a heating target and a backsheet (6) that is located on a side away from the heating target, and a method for manufacturing the same. The heat generating element (3) has a first sheet (3f) arranged opposing the topsheet (5), a second sheet (3g) arranged opposing the backsheet (6), and a heat generating portion (3a) sandwiched between the first sheet (3f) and the second sheet (3g). In the warming tool (1), a perfume (8) and an adhesive (7) are arranged between the second sheet (3g) and the backsheet (6), and a region in which the adhesive (7) is arranged and a region in which the perfume (8) is not arranged overlap each other in a plan view.

  • Patent number: 9709260
Abstract: A heat generating device including a heat generating element and an enclosing material entirely enclosing the heat generating element. The heat generating element includes a base sheet formed of a fibrous sheet containing superabsorbent polymer particles and hydrophilic fibers and a layer of a heat generative composition containing oxidizable metal particles on a side of the base sheet. The enclosing material includes a first cover sheet and a second cover sheet bonded together in their peripheral portions to provide a space therebetween in which the heat generating member is placed. The heat generating element in the space is in a non-fixed state to the enclosing material. The first cover sheet has air permeability in part and is disposed on the side of the layer of the heat generative composition. The heat generating device is capable of releasing steam from the side of the first cover sheet during use.

  • Patent number: 8650727
Abstract: A laminate (6) is prepared by superposing a fibrous web (1a), (1b) containing fibers comprising polyethylene terephthalate on one side or both sides of a net-form sheet (4); water needling the fibrous web (1a), (1b) to entangle the fibers of the fibrous web (1a), (1b) with each other, and also to entangle the fibers of the fibrous web (1a), (1b) with the net-form sheet (4); and then, blowing hot air having a temperature above the glass transition temperature (Tg (° C.)) of the polyethylene terephthalate and below “Tg (° C.)+70° C.” to the laminate (6) by through-air technique. Preferably, after preparing the laminate (6) by entangling the fibers of the fibrous web(s) (1a), (1b) with the net-form sheet (4), the laminate (6) is dried with hot air; and then hot air is blown to the laminate (6) by through-air technique.

  • Publication number: 20130125837
Abstract: A heat generating device 100 including a heat generating element 10 and an enclosing material entirely enclosing the heat generating element 10. The heat generating element 100 includes a base sheet formed of a fibrous sheet containing superabsorbent polymer particles and hydrophilic fibers and a layer of a heat generative composition containing oxidizable metal particles on a side of the base sheet. The enclosing material includes a first cover sheet 4 and a second cover sheet 5 bonded together in their peripheral portions to provide a space therebetween in which the heat generating member 10 is placed. The heat generating element 10 in the space is in a non-fixed state to the enclosing material. The first cover sheet 4 has air permeability in part and is disposed on the side of the layer of the heat generative composition. The heat generating device 100 is capable of releasing steam from the side of the first cover sheet 4 during use.
