  • Publication number: 20200391444
Abstract: A three-dimensional object manufacturing method includes steps of: generating, based on three-dimensional data of a three-dimensional object, two-dimensional data for a two-dimensional printed matter in which at least a part of an image appearing on a surface of the three-dimensional object is printed on a medium, and three-dimensional data of a three-dimensional shaped object that includes an attachment groove to which inside the two-dimensional printed matter is attached and forms the three-dimensional object when the two-dimensional printed matter is attached inside the attachment groove (S102); generating the two-dimensional printed matter by a two-dimensional printer based on the two-dimensional data generated in S102 (S103); generating the three-dimensional shaped object by a three-dimensional printer based on three-dimensional data generated in S102 (S104); and generating the three-dimensional object by attaching the two-dimensional printed matter generated in S103 to the inside of the attachment groov

  • Patent number: 9962974
Abstract: This disclosure is directed to more effectively prevent blocking. An inkjet printing apparatus 100 has a platen 3, an after-heater 4, a take-up gear 5, and a cooler. The platen 3 heats a medium 20 to a temperature lower than or equal to a glass-transition temperature Tg1 of a resin included in the medium 20. The after-heater 4 heats the medium 20 to a temperature higher than or equal to a glass-transition temperature Tg2 of a resin contained in the ink. The take-up gear 5 collects the printed medium 20. The medium 20 or the take-up gear 5 is cooled by the cooler so as to reach a temperature lower than both the temperature Tg1 and the temperature Tg2.

  • Patent number: 9802425
Abstract: A printing device and a printing method, which are by ink-jet technique an overcoat layer using an ink consisting of more suitable ingredients, are provided. The printing device is for performing printing by ink-jet technique, including: a color ink head being an inkjet head that forms a color ink layer on a medium using a color ink; an overcoat head being an inkjet head that forms an overcoat layer that covers the color ink layer; and a curing agent head being an inkjet head that discharges ink droplets of a curing agent, the curing agent being a liquid for curing an ink in the overcoat layer. The overcoat head discharges ink droplets of an ink prepared by dispersing in an organic solvent a curable material that is cured in reaction to the curing agent.

  • Publication number: 20170165909
Abstract: A three-dimensional forming device that forms a three-dimensional object includes a micrometer and a shaft portion that adjusts an inclination of a contacting surface of a leveling roller with respect to a trajectory of a forming table seen from the leveling roller when a forming table and the leveling roller are relatively moved in an X axis direction. The three-dimensional object forming device forms a three-dimensional object at a satisfactory precision.
