  • Patent number: 8827056
Abstract: A cylinder body is partitioned by a partition into a first chamber that is divided from an outside by a cap body and a second chamber accommodating a piston body. A flow channel communicating the first chamber and the second chamber with each other is formed in the partition, and a shaft is projected from the partition onto the first chamber side. The cap body includes a through-hole, the shaft is inserted movably in the through-hole from a reference position along an axis line direction of the cylinder body. There is provided a throttle structure that changes a gap between the through-hole and the shaft when the cap body moves from the reference position by a pressure change generated by a movement or a relative movement of the piston body.

  • Publication number: 20120211317
Abstract: A damper device includes a cylinder body and a piston body, and at least one of the cylinder body and the piston body is adapted to attach to an object to be damped for damping a movement or a relative movement of the object to be damped. A communication hole which communicates inside and outside of the cylinder body is formed in an inner back portion of the cylinder body. Also, a valve body is provided for reducing a flow volume of a fluid passing through the communication hole by moving from a standard position while elastically deforming at least one portion due to a pressure change caused by the movement or the relative movement of the piston body.

  • Patent number: 7938238
Abstract: A rotary damper (D) is constituted by: housings (11, 51); a silicon oil (21) being housed inside the housings (11, 51); a rotor (31) wherein a resistive portion (36) moving through the silicon oil 21 inside the housings (11, 51) is provided in an axial portion (32) which is housed inside the housings (11, 51) and projects from the housings (11, 51); and an O-ring (61) preventing the silicon oil (21) from leaking between the axial portion (32) and the housing (51), and multiple arc-like through-bores (37) are provided in the resistive portion (36) on a concentric circle, and depressed grooves (38) communicating with the arc-like through-bores (37) are provided. Accordingly, during the assembly, the air being mixed into the housing is not allowed to be excessively compressed, so that even if the rotor rotates bi-directionally, the noise being caused by the air being mixed into the housing can be prevented.

  • Publication number: 20090277735
Abstract: A rotary damper is provided so that air incorporated into a housing during assembly is, not excessively compressed, whereby a generation of a peculiar sound due to the air incorporated into the housing can be prevented even though the rotor rotates in both directions, and so that the air is stopped and captured in a fixed place whereby influence on the generated torque can be reduced, and irregularity of the torque can be reduced progressively. A rotary damper includes a housing (11, 51), silicon oil housed inside the housing (11, 51), a rotor 31 housed inside the housing (11, 51), and having a shaft member (32) projecting from the housing (11, 51) and having a resistance member (36) moving through the silicon oil (21) inside the housing (11, 51), and an O-ring (61) for preventing leakage of the silicon oil (21) from between the shaft member (32) and the housing (51). A circumferential groove (54) is provided on an inner face of the housing (51) facing the resistance member (36).

  • Patent number: 5522485
Abstract: A rotary damper includes a rotor having a shaft, a housing having an opening and forming therein a chamber for accommodating the rotor so that the rotor is rotatable while being damped, and a cap for closing the opening of the housing. The housing has an annular wall which is provided on the outer periphery thereof with a gear portion. The shaft of the rotor projects out of the cap.
