  • Patent number: 9790908
Abstract: A common rail fuel injection device includes first and second flow rate regulating valves for regulating a delivery volume of a pressurized fuel feed pump that feeds pressurized fuel to a common rail, a pressure reducing valve for reducing a common rail pressure, and a control device. The control device for the common rail fuel injection device includes a first drive controlling unit that controls a first electromagnetic driving unit for the second flow rate regulating valve and a second electromagnetic driving unit for the pressure reducing valve, and a second drive controlling unit that controls a third electromagnetic driving unit for the first flow rate regulating valve. The first drive controlling unit prohibits a drive instruction from being sent to the second flow rate regulating valve when the first drive controlling unit sends a drive instruction to the pressure reducing valve.

  • Patent number: 6923159
Abstract: A diesel engine comprises a high-pressure pump (5) driven by an engine (E) to supply fuel in a fuel tank (2) to a common rail (3), an electric priming pump (13) provided in a fuel passage (15) extending from the fuel tank (2) to the high-pressure pump (5), and a control device (10) to control the electric priming pump (13). The control device (10) drives the electric priming pump (13) when the engine is started, if a state that the engine rotating speed (Ne) is higher than a predetermined first rotating speed (N1) and the common rail pressure (Cp) is lower than a predetermined first pressure (C1) continues for a period being equal to or more than a predetermined first period (T1). The burden on the operator is mitigated since necessity for the priming operation can be automatically judged.

  • Patent number: 5488787
Abstract: When a prime mover (1) is driven, a controller (25) outputs an open-drive signal for bringing an opening/shutting valve (23) into an open position and, upon a control lever (68, etc.) being operated, a hydraulic fluid is supplied from an auxiliary hydraulic pump (7) through pressure reducing valves to driving sectors of directional control valves (8 to 16) for shifting them. A flow rate and a direction of flow of the hydraulic fluid from main hydraulic pumps (3, 4) are thereby adjusted so that actuators (57A, 57B, 57C, 56A, 54) can be each operated at a speed depending on the amount by which the control lever is operated. When one of the actuators (57A, 57B, 57C, 56A, 54) is to be driven when the prime mover (1) is not driven, an open command is selected in a selection command device (24), whereupon the controller (25) outputs the open-drive signal, causing the opening/shutting valve (23) to open a line interconnecting the accumulator (21) and the pressure reducing valve (17), etc.
