  • Patent number: 6664777
Abstract: Photometric apparatus and photometric method measure a wide range of incident light amounts accurately and efficiently. The photometric apparatus includes an optical sensor for delivering a photocurrent; an integrator capacitor for integrating the photocurrent to provide an integrated voltage; a voltage measurer measuring the integrated voltage; an integration time measure for measuring an integration time which the integrator capacitor integrates the photocurrent; for resetting the integrator capacitor whenever the voltage across the integrator capacitor exceeds a given voltage value; a summer summing a total voltage value integrated by the integrator capacitor during the given time including at least one reset; and a photometric calculator for calculating a photometric value based on the total voltage value and on the integration time.

  • Patent number: 5805949
Abstract: A photosensitive material processing apparatus in which a pair of rollers respectively having water absorbing surface layers is disposed downstream of a washing processing section and the rotating shafts of said rollers are urged in the directions in which said rollers approach each other, wherein the thickness of said water absorbing surface layer of at least one roller of said rollers gradually decreases toward end portions of the at least one roller. In this way, since the thickness of the water absorbing surface layer of the at least one roller gradually decreases toward the end portions of said at least one roller, a gap is prevented from occurring between said water absorbing surface layer and said photosensitive material at the central portions of the rollers due to the flexing of the rollers.

  • Patent number: 5516267
Abstract: A scroll compressor comprising a rotation constraining device for restricting the rotation of the orbital scroll toward the principal axis rotational direction and for extending the constraining range of the orbital scroll toward the principal axis reverse rotational direction, and a compression chamber torque forming device for causing a pressure in a first compression chamber to be larger than that in a second compression chamber when the pressure in the compression chambers rises up abnormally high. The first compression chamber is formed between the wrap member inside surface of the fixed scroll and the wrap member outside surface of the orbital scroll and the second compression chamber is formed between the wrap member outside surface of the fixed scroll and the wrap member inside surface of the orbital scroll.

  • Patent number: 5346375
Abstract: A discharge valve is incorporated into a scroll compressor for use in a refrigerator or an air conditioner. A valve element seating surface having a concave cylindrical shape is formed in the upper surface of the stationary disk of the stationary scroll plate of the scroll compressor, a discharge port is formed through the stationary disk of the stationary scroll plate so as to open in the valve element seating surface, and a discharge valve element having a cylindrical shape conforming to the concave cylindrical shape of the valve element seating surface is seated on the valve element seating surface so as to open or close the discharge port. The valve element seating surface having a concave cylindrical shape facilitates machining the stationary scroll plate, reduces the top clearance of the scroll compressor without reducing the rigidity of the stationary disk, prevents the concentration of stress on the delivery valve, and improves the reliability of the delivery valve.
