  • Publication number: 20010050774
Abstract: An image processing device has a color/monotone common image processing section to execute a series of image processing corresponding to a monotone image having an external output terminal to take out an intermediate processing data to an external and an external input terminal to take in an image data color processed from an external section into an intermediate section. The data provided into the intermediate section of the color/monotone common image processing section is selected from the image data from the input terminal and the intermediate processing data from the former section of the color/monotone common image processing section.

  • Patent number: 6069717
Abstract: A color image reading apparatus comprises: first to N.sup.th (color line image) sensors for receiving respective color images from the projected image and respectively generating first to N.sup.th (color) signals, the first to N.sup.th sensors respectively extending in a main scanning direction and being arranged in a sub-scanning direction SD in order from the first to N.sup.th sensors with different pitches between the first to (N-1).sup.th sensors and the N.sup.th sensor; a receiving circuit for receiving an enlargement ratio and for supplying a scanning pitch according to the enlargement ratio; a scanning unit responsive to the scanning pitch for scanning the image against the first to N.sup.th sensors in the SD at the scanning pitch in the order, wherein lines of the first to (N-1).sup.th sensors deviate from the lines of the N.sup.th sensor according to the enlargement ratio; and a line combining portion for selecting one of lines of each of the first to (N-1).sup.

  • Patent number: 5696611
Abstract: An achromatic color judging region is determined in a red-green-blue (RGB) color system, and it is judged in an achromatic color judging unit whether or not a color picture at a remarked pixel designated by a R multi-valued digital input signal, a G multi-valued digital input signal and a B multi-valued digital input signal is placed within the achromatic color judging region. Also, the RGB multi-valued digital input signals are converted into pieces of RGB binary data in an error dispersion processing unit while dispersing errors occurring in the RGB binary data. In case where it is judged that the color picture is an achromatic color because the color picture is placed within the achromatic color judging region, a piece of achromatic color data is generated from the RGB binary data in an achromatic color reproducing and color transforming unit and is output to reproduce the color picture at the remarked pixel.

  • Patent number: 5100516
Abstract: A high volume workpiece treating system includes horizontally arranged treating staions, including vertically arranged treating stations. A conveyor system moves workpieces sequentially and cyclically through the vertically arranged treating stations so that, while one treating station is loaded with workpieces and carrying out a treating procedure, the next station in the vertical group is being loaded with the next batch of workpieces. A single conveyor is arranged to supply a group of vertical treating stations with workpieces and to remove the workpieces from each station at the completion of the treating process. The conveyor and treating stations are arranged to handle sequential batches of workpieces with a minimum of idle time to achieve maximum efficiency. Each group of vertical treating stations is associated with a single piece of auxiliary equipment that controls the flow of treating solution through each of the treating cells of the group.

  • Patent number: 5030320
Abstract: An apparatus and process for chemically treating a surface of a workpiece with a liquid solution that produces an environmentally harmful gaseous byproduct includes a water spray system for contacting and reacting the gaseous byproduct at the location where it is produced during the chemical treating process. The reacted byproduct is then carried away in the water stream and with the chemical treating solution for safe disposal and recovery. Residual unreacted gaseous byproduct is chemically treated at a separate location within the same apparatus layout used to process the workpiece.
