  • Patent number: 8879069
Abstract: An optical image measurement device comprises: a light amount adjustment part that adjusts the light amount of a laser beam generated by a low coherence light source 201; and a photodiode 105 placed outside the light path of the laser beam irradiated on an eye E and capable of measuring the light amount, wherein the laser beam is input to the photodiode 105 by changing the direction of a galvanomirror 170B; the photodiode 105 measures the light amount of the input laser beam; and the light amount adjustment part previously stores a specified range of light amount and adjust the light amount of the laser beam generated by the low coherence light source 201 such that the light amount measured by the photodiode 105 falls within the specified range.

  • Patent number: 7232222
Abstract: Provided is an operation microscope where manipulations to be performed in response to switching between methods for observing an eye to be operated are performed in an interlocked manner, thereby improving manipulability. When recognizing that a change-over switch is switched to its upper position, a control circuit controls a drive apparatus so that an operator microscope is raised, controls a drive mechanism so that an optical unit is moved to an inverter-on position, changes the turned-on position of a light source so that an illumination light flux forms a small angle with respect to an observation optical axis, and controls a solenoid so that a stereo variator is moved to be arranged on an optical path of an observation light flux.

  • Patent number: 7072104
Abstract: Provided is an operation microscope capable of obtaining bright and wide range red reflex on an observation image. Further, an operation microscope suitable for an observation of a retina and a vitreous body is provided. A pair of deflection members composed of two deflection mirrors are provided as a deflection means for deflecting illumination light guided from a light source to the vicinity of an optical axis of an observation optical system and guiding it to an eye to be operated through an objective lens. The deflection mirrors are disposed to sandwich the optical axis therebetween and simultaneously guide the illumination lights to the eye to be operated at substantially the same oblique angles with respect to the optical axis from the respective opposite sides. In addition, a stereo variator is made insertable onto the observation optical axis, so that relative positions of optical axes of right and left observation fluxes can be changed.

  • Patent number: 6072623
Abstract: A slit lamp microscope of the present invention is provided in which it is possible to observe and record a clear image of the lesion portion of the eye to be examined with a high contrast, and at the same time, it is possible to observe and record the peripheral portion of the eye to be examined. The slit lamp microscope has a first illumination system for projecting local illumination light to the eye to be examined for observing a cross section of the observation portion. A second illumination system is provided with a diaphragm for limiting the illumination filed of the illumination light projected to the eye, for illuminating a peripheral portion of the illumination field of the eye projected by the first illumination system. This makes it possible to observe that the cross section and peripheral portion of the observation portion.
