  • Publication number: 20090038556
Abstract: A method for culturing benthic organisms in a culture pond without feeding uses an apparatus for continuously drawing up bottom layer water and dispersing it into upper layer water. The apparatus is provided for a culture pond of benthic organisms. Organic matter in the bottom layer water is mixed with the upper layer water to be mineralized, thereby raising the density of inorganic nutrient salts, so that photosynthesis in the upper layer water is activated to increase plant plankton.

  • Publication number: 20070022607
Abstract: It is possible to change a shaving area width that can be shaved at a time in accordance with a shaving portion, and to swiftly cut hair. The shaver includes a plurality of outer blade frames which hold a blade block for cutting hair. The outer blade frames are arranged in a direction Y intersecting with a moving direction X of a movable blade of the blade block. At least one of the outer blade frames can slide in the moving direction X of the movable blade from an initial position. The shaver has a fixing unit which fixes the outer blade frame at a sliding position.

  • Publication number: 20050262694
Abstract: A personal trimming system includes a main body having a motor and a part of a driving unit for converting a rotation of the motor into a reciprocating motion; and a head portion having a driven member moving in a reciprocating motion. A cross section of the main body has an approximately meniscus shape in a direction parallel to a direction in which the driven member contacts with a surface of which hair is trimmed and, further, a front side and a rear side, being recessed and protruded respectively, are curved in an approximately arc shape along a reciprocating motion direction of the driven member.

  • Patent number: 5243834
Abstract: The low temperature food storage equipment of the present invention is provided with an icehouse and a food storeroom each surrounded by a heat insulator. The icehouse and the storeroom are connected by a detachable heat exchanger disposed therebetween. In the icehouse there is stored water which is frozen into ice when the outside air grows cold. In the storeroom there are kept in cold storage a large amount of shippable food, for example, potatoes. In the case of shipping the food, the heat exchanger is removed and the food is transported on a truck or the like while being kept in cold storage in the storeroom.

  • Patent number: 5240177
Abstract: A ventilation apparatus for a container for transporting goods by truck or ship. The walls of the container are provided with an inlet opening and an outlet opening, and an inlet unit is connected to the inlet opening and an outlet unit is connected to the outlet opening. The outlet unit is provided with a battery-operated fan for a forced ventilation of the container, temperature sensors are provided for detecting the inner wall temperature and inner air temperature, and a degree of change in the wall temperature per unit of time is calculated for operating the fan when the degree of change in the wall temperature is larger than a predetermined value. Furthermore, the difference between the inner air temperature and the wall temperature is calculated, and the fan is operated when that difference is larger than a predetermined value.
