  • Patent number: 11818684
Abstract: A method of predicting a location of a user equipment, UE, in a mobile communication network includes generating a list of potential target base stations by generating a transition count for each potential target base station including a count of transitions from the base station to the potential target base station within a predetermined time period, generating a plurality of relative transition frequencies based on the transition counts, and generating a transition probability for each respective potential target base station based on the relative transition frequency of the potential target base station from the base station.

  • Patent number: 7819610
Abstract: A tool intended for chip removing machining is disclosed. The tool is of the type that has a basic body and an indexable cutting insert that can be connected to the basic body via an interface including a primary connecting surface in the basic body and a secondary connecting surface in the cutting insert. Among two cooperating support flanks included in the connecting surface of the basic body, one is situated on a level above the other in order to form a lateral support for the cutting insert. In the connecting surface of the cutting insert, contact flanks are included that, together with the clearance surface of the cutting insert, form a V-shapedly converging wedge part that can be applied in a seat delimited by the support flanks, the contact flank being urged against the low-positioned support flank of the basic body, while an upper part of the clearance surface of the cutting insert is urged against the high-positioned support flank.

  • Patent number: 7578638
Abstract: A cutting tool including a basic body and a plurality of cutting inserts arranged in series one after the other. Each insert includes a topside, an underside, two opposite side surfaces, front and rear ends, and a cutting edge adjacent to the front end. The rear end of a first cutting insert faces the front end of a second cutting insert disposed rearward of the first insert, and a chip space forward of the cutting edge of the second cutting insert is delimited by a chip-forming surface extending in the forward direction from the rear end of the first cutting insert, and a chip-forming surface extending downward from the cutting edge of the second cutting insert.

  • Patent number: 7520700
Abstract: A milling cutter for sharpening welding electrodes includes a tool body, and a plurality of cutting inserts fastened to the tool body. The inserts include a center cutting insert and at least two peripheral cutting inserts. Each peripheral cutting insert includes at least one cutting edge. The center cutting insert defines: two oppositely facing principle planes, two cutting edges disposed adjacent respective ones of the principle planes, and a concave surface extending between such cutting edges. The center cutting insert can cut (sharpen) the end surfaces of two welding electrodes simultaneously.

  • Patent number: 7260916
Abstract: A device for forming a displaceable wall structure, comprising one or more building elements each provided with a first and a second arrangement for suspension of the building element from a support unit and for substantially horizontal movement of the building element forward and backward along the support unit. The first and the second suspension arrangements, when cooperating with the support unit, are arranged spaced from each other along the extension of the building element parallel to said substantially horizontal movement direction, and the building element includes another element for pivoting the building element about a substantially vertical pivot axis.

  • Patent number: 6250088
Abstract: Method for cooling a product, preferably in gas or liquid form, using the cooling content of a condensed gas, where the condensed gas is vaporized in a vaporization heat exchanger arrangement and the product is cooled in a product-cooling heat exchanger arrangement. Both the vaporization and the product-cooling take place under energy exchange with the vaporized gas. As heat exchanger arrangements, use is made of a combined arrangement (1) comprising a plurality of passages (A, B, C) which are in heat-transferring contact with one another and are used for the different media. The passages (A)_ intended for vaporization of the condensed gas are coupled in parallel between an inlet (5) and an outlet (6) and the media are supplied to the passages so that between a passage (A) for the condensed gas and a passage (C) for the product to be cooled there is at all times at least one passage (B) through which vaporized gas flows.

  • Patent number: 5946612
Abstract: A method and apparatus for measuring telephone traffic volume in a cellular telephone system which, in a first embodiment, includes a receiver located at a proposed micro-cell site for measuring the traffic volume. In a second embodiment, a test base station transmits a signal and a processor communicates with a base station controller serving macro-cells surrounding the proposed micro-cell site to extract signal strength measurement reports transmitted to the cellular telephone network from mobile stations receiving the signal transmitted by the test base station. In a third embodiment, the test base station is located at the proposed micro-cell site and is assigned a location area identity different from that of the macro-cells surrounding the proposed micro-cell. Mobile stations operating in and around the proposed micro-cell site are required to register in the new location area and transmit a signal strength report which includes the signal strength of the test base station.

  • Patent number: 5747724
Abstract: The invention relates to shot pellets for hunting in wet marshlands or corresponding wet areas. The shot has an inner core of copper or copper alloy and an outer layer of silver or silver alloy. No heavy metal will leach from the shot into the environmental surroundings, and the shot has no toxic effect on birds, even should they ingest a considerable quantity of shot. The shot is produced by granulating copper or copper alloy electrochemically to obtain shot cores, whereafter at least one layer is applied thereto. The outer layer always consists of silver or a silver alloy.
