To be specific, the present invention relates to a method of using a tertiary diamine compound immobilized on a polymer surface as a SO2 sorbent and also relates to a novel sorbent for absorbing or adsorbing a sulfur dioxide hydrate (SO2.H2O) formed by a bond between SO2 and water.
