  • Publication number: 20140296743
Abstract: A portable blood sampling device comprises: a laser module; a skin contact part which is disposed in the direction in which the laser radiation is emitted so that the laser radiation is locally concentrated on a region of a skin that is to be perforated; a radiation port cover disposed through the laser module and across the direction in which the laser radiation is emitted; a first safety switch part which switches on and off via upward and downward movement in response to opening and closing of the radiation port cover; a second safety switch part which has an elastic member between the laser module and the skin contact part and switches on and off in response to pushing and pulling of the skin contact part; and a button switch which allows the laser radiation to be emitted.

  • Publication number: 20140221802
Abstract: A one touch laser lancing type blood glucose measurement device, a strip, and the method using it. In particular, the invention relates to a one touch laser lancing type blood glucose measurement device, a strip, and the method using it, which performs blood gathering and blood glucose measurement at the same time, using laser beams generated in a laser module. The laser beams are irradiated into a finger passing a hole of a strip with a focusing lens converging the laser beams, a protect window, and the hole to gather blood, then the blood is absorbed into the strip for measuring blood glucose.

  • Publication number: 20100030110
Abstract: A personal portable painless lancing device and a blood glucose meter using the same, which can lance at the minimum without any pain and use it to measure the blood glucose. The minimum painless lancing device using an Er:YAG laser includes an Er:YAG laser beam-generating section in which the laser beam is generated to punch skin and radiated in a single direction; an adapter installed at the front end of the Er:YAG laser beam-generating section so that the laser beam can be locally concentrated on a skin punch portion; a skin adhesion cap installed at the front end of the adapter so that it can be easily detached, and can reduce the contamination of the Er:YAG laser beam-generating section, which is produced at the time of the lancing, and the danger due to the reuse of it among the patients of lancing; and a case to accommodate the Er:YAG laser beam-generating section and the adapter therein.
