    Abstract: An air conditioner having a first connecting unit and a second connecting unit. The first connecting unit is forwardly protruded by a predetermined length from the front surface of the front panel and has a hinge shaft on an end thereof. This first connecting unit rotatably holds the intake grille to the front panel and allows the intake grille to be opened at a wide angle. The second connecting unit is provided on the inner surface of a bent portion formed along the side of the intake grille and has a hole to receive the hinge shaft.
