  • Publication number: 20230317098
Abstract: The present disclosure provides for the division of environmental sounds from speech sounds to extract and analyze the behaviors and activities occurring in the environment; thus expanding and improving the functionality of AI assistant devices. These environmental sounds can be securely uploaded to an electronic chart, and may be used to aid in the treatment of existing conditions or the prophylaxis/mitigation of conditions not yet experienced by a patient under observation. Accordingly, the present disclosure provides for improved functionality in assistant devices and devices linked to the AI assistant devices.

  • Publication number: 20230316209
Abstract: Techniques for predicting caregiver retention using machine learning (ML) are discussed. These techniques include predicting an impact of one or more caregiver tasks on continued employment of the caregiver with a care provider, including determining a plurality of intermediate prediction scores relating to characteristics for the caregiver using one or more first ML models trained to determine intermediate prediction scores. The techniques further include determining a retention prediction for the caregiver using the plurality of intermediate prediction scores, including: generating the retention prediction by providing the plurality of intermediate prediction scores to a second ML model trained to determine the retention prediction based on intermediate prediction scores.

  • Publication number: 20230315912
Abstract: Techniques for improved data services are provided. A check-in scan indicating a user device in a medical facility is received, and a medical professional associated with the user device is identified. A patient of the medical facility is identified based at least in part on the check-in scan. Access permission of the medical professional is validated, with respect to the patient, based at least in part on the check-in scan. In response to validating the access permission of the medical professional, credentials of the medical professional are not requested, a patient profile of the patient is automatically retrieved via one or more networks, and input describing the patient, from the medical professional, is automatically stored in the patient profile via the one or more networks.

  • Publication number: 20230210372
Abstract: Embodiments herein determine when to place a passive assistive call using personal artificial intelligence (AI) assistants. The present embodiments improve upon the base functionalities of the assistant devices by monitoring the usually discarded or filtered-out environmental sounds to identify when a person is in distress to automatically issue an assistive call in addition to or alternatively to monitoring user speech for active commands to place assistive calls. The assistant device may be in communication with various other sensors to enhance or supplement the audio assessment of the persons in the environment, and may be used in a variety of scenarios where prior call systems struggled to quickly and accurately identify distress in various monitored persons (e.g., patients) including falls, stroke onset, and choking.

  • Publication number: 20230148960
Abstract: Apparatuses and associated techniques for fall detection and prevention via wearable devices are provided. In one aspect, a wearable device is provided including one or more pressure sensors arranged on a bottom portion of the wearable device to collect pressure data from a bottom of a foot of a user, a wireless transmitter communicatively coupled with the one or more pressure sensors, and a power source coupled with the wireless transmitter.

  • Publication number: 20230107394
Abstract: Techniques for improved sensor monitoring using machine learning are provided. An elopement likelihood indicating a probability of elopement for a patient in a care setting is generated by processing first patient data using a trained machine learning model. One or more sensor devices are enabled in response to determining that the elopement likelihood exceeds a threshold. Second patient data is collected for the patient using the enabled one or more sensor devices. An intervention for the patient is selected based on the second patient data, and the intervention is enacted.

  • Publication number: 20230037749
Abstract: A first value for each of a plurality of parameters is received, each of the first values being associated with a user and a first day. A second value for each of the plurality of parameters is received, each of the second values being associated with the user and a second day that is subsequent to the first day. For each of the plurality of parameters, a trend indication is determined, the trend indication being based on the first values, the second values, and a first time period. A base weight value for each of the plurality of parameters is determined, the base weight value being based on the first time period and the determined trend indication associated with the one of the plurality of parameters. A mood score is determined, based on the base weight value for each of the plurality of parameters.
