Abstract: A storage bag includes first and second sidewalls that are directly connected, and a plurality of shift regions at bottom portions of the sidewalls. The bag can be moved about the shift regions such that the bag is shiftable between a flat configuration with the first and second sidewalls positioned adjacent to each other and a stand-up configuration with the first and second sidewalls separated from each other. In the stand-up configuration, the bag is shifted about the shift regions such that a substantially flat base is formed for the bag. The stand-up configuration is thereby achieved without a pleat being provided between the sidewalls at a bottom of the bag.

The slider includes (a) a plurality of ridges extending from a first sidewall, the plurality of ridges extending farther from the first sidewall at the ends of the slider than at a position at the center of the length of the slider, and (b) a plurality of ridges extending from a second sidewall, the plurality of ridges extending further from the second sidewall at the ends of the slider than at a position at the center of the length of the slider.

A bottom end of the bag is movable between a flat configuration with the first and second side surfaces positioned adjacent to each other, and an expanded configuration with the first and second side surfaces being spaced from each other. Shape retaining strips are provided adjacent to the opening that can maintain the shape of the opening. The shape retaining strips are capable of maintaining the opening of the bag such that a distance between the first and second side surfaces at the top end of the bag is about equal to the distance between the first and second side surfaces at the bottom end of the bag.

Abstract: A slider is provided for use with a fastener assembly of a storage bag. The slider includes a first sidewall, a second sidewall, and a top wall connecting the first and second sidewalls. The slider also includes pressing legs for pressing together interlocking profiles of fastener strips, and a separating leg for separating the interlocked profiles. The slider has an asymmetric configuration that allows the slider to be moved closer to an end-stop formed in the fastener strips.

Abstract: A detachable closure device for a bag includes a fastener having a first wall coupled along a fold to an opposing, second wall. A first attachment mechanism is disposed at a first end of the first wall and a second attachment mechanism is disposed at an opposite, second end of the first wall. At least one latching element is disposed on the fastener and configured to detachably couple the fastener to a side panel of a bag.

Abstract: A food storage product dispensing kit for de-bulking food includes a plurality of re-sealable primary bags and a plurality of secondary pouches, wherein the secondary pouches are adapted and configured to be worn and inverted over a user's hand as well as minimize freezer burn of food items therein. An advertising insert may include branding information, de-bulking instructions, food safety information, a product sample, and a coupon. The bags, the pouches, and the advertising insert are unitized in a single package for consumer convenience.
