  • Patent number: 6529907
Abstract: A service quality management system which is capable of adaptively controlling a quality of a service provided by a distributed object is provided. The system is provided with a first storage for saving information about a relation between a server for the distributed object and a priority set to services to be provided by the server and a second storage for saving information about a relation between an identifier for communication path under the control of a node and a priority set for processing made on the node. At the time of a request for activation of the server, the priority set to services provided by the server is read out by using priority reading from the first storage and the information about the identifier for communication path corresponding to processing with the same priority as that read from the priority reading device is read out by using an identifier reading device from the second storage.

  • Publication number: 20020075874
Abstract: A datagram transmission device whereby processing for performing determination of the transmission destination and transmission using the destination address and processing using information of layers other than the third layer of the protocol are performed by a simple algorithm. A first search function section searches for a transmission control rule using the destination address i.e. third layer information of a received datagram. A second search function section searches for a transmission control rule using information of this datagram other than the third layer. A decision function section inputs the search result of the second search function section and determines a transmission control rule that is contained in all the search results.

  • Publication number: 20020078226
Abstract: Datagram transmission device that executes route searching and other searching at high speed. Information used for transmission control is read from a received datagram and the information that are thus read are used to generate an identification key. Next, a transmission control rule corresponding to the selected key is selected from a transmission control rule list. The datagram transmission device controls transmission of the datagram in accordance with the selected transmission control rule. Since the transmission control rule is selected from a list using an identification key, determination of the content of control can be performed in a short time.

  • Publication number: 20010036180
Abstract: This invention provides an improved data transferring method performed in a communication network comprising a management system M1 and a plurality of nodes K1-K3. Since the management system M1 collectively manages the algorithm information that indicates algorithm possessed in each node, if the fist node does not have algorithm needed for processing a certain packet, the first node can find the second node having the algorithm by inquiring the network management element M1. In addition, the first node can transfer the certain packet to the second node to process the certain packet by using the algorithm.

Abstract: This invention provides an improved data transferring menthol performed in a communication network comprising a management system M1 and a plurality of nodes. Since the management system M1 collectively manages the algorithm information that indicates algorithm possessed in each node, if the fist node does not have algorithm needed for processing a certain packet, the first node can find the second node with the algorithm by requesting the network management unit M1 to send protocol information. In addition, the first node can transfer the certain packet to the second node to process the certain packet by using the algorithm.

  • Patent number: 5583814
Abstract: An arrangement is provided for the input level of an output buffer from fluctuating when a memory device goes from an active state to an inactive state. To achieve this, a level holding circuit is provided at a point connecting an output of a sense circuit for amplifying a signal read from a memory array to an input of an output buffer. The level holding circuit is constituted so that, when the sense circuit goes from an active state to an inactive state, the level holding circuit holds an input level of the output buffer at a time immediately before the sense circuit goes inactive.
