  • Patent number: 10490960
Abstract: A field termination plug includes a contact retainer, a plug housing, a terminal connection unit, and a cover pivotally connectable to the plug housing. The plug housing includes a front portion and an accommodation portion. The terminal connection unit has contacts and piercing terminals electrically coupled to the respective contacts. When the plug housing carries the terminal connection unit and the contact retainer is attached to the front portion, the contacts are disposed on the front portion for electrical coupling to a network jack and the piercing terminals are disposed upward on the accommodation portion. When the cover is pivoted to an open position, the piercing terminals are exposed for disposition of a wire organizer for attachment of the wires. The cover pivoted to a closed position presses the wire organizer such that the wires attached to the wire organizer are terminated to the respective piercing terminals.

  • Patent number: 9948033
Abstract: A patch panel structure includes a first jack row including a plurality of first network ports each having RJ-45 jack ends aligned in a first direction and arranged in a first row; a second jack row including a plurality of second network ports each having RJ-45 jack ends aligned in a second direction and arranged in a second row, wherein the first jack row and the second jack row are parallel, whereas the first direction and the second direction are opposite. Minimal alien crosstalk occurs between the network ports of the patch panel structure, thereby meeting strict transmission standards.

  • Patent number: 9929480
Abstract: Shielded keystone jack structure is for connection of a plurality of wires of a first cable to be terminated to a second cable. The shielded keystone jack structure includes a front housing, terminal connection unit, wire organizer, cover, and rear housing. The front housing includes a front portion having an opening for insertion of the second cable; and an accommodation portion. The terminal connection unit has wire contacts, piercing terminals, a first guiding element, and first positioning parts. The wire organizer having wire-receiving slots for attachment of the wires thereto, as disposed on the terminal connection unit carried by the front housing, is moved towards the piercing terminals along a path at least defined by the first guiding elements and first positioning parts for termination of the wires when the cover is pivoted to a closed position. The rear housing is used for being attached to the front housing.

  • Patent number: 9667004
Abstract: A patch panel includes sockets and mounting frames. The mounting frames each have a plugging side and a terminal side. Plugging planes of the sockets are exposed from a vias on mounting surfaces of the mounting frames. The sockets are disposed on each mounting frame and arranged in two parallel rows, including an upper row and a lower row. The plugging planes of the sockets of one of the upper and lower rows retract from the mounting surface toward the terminal side by a predetermined distance; hence, the retracted plugging planes of the retracted row do not lie on the same plane as the non-retracted plugging planes of the non-retracted row. The patch panel features larger spacing between a disturbing channel and a disturbed channel and lesser significant alien crosstalk, thereby offsetting alien crosstalk without violating the EIA-310 standard.

  • Patent number: 9391405
Abstract: A pin structure of a modular jack includes the first through eighth resilient pins. The resilient pins have bent electrically fixing portions fixed to a circuit board and bent electrical contact portions. Vertices of the bent electrical contact portions point away from the circuit board. The first, second, fourth and sixth resilient pins have the bent electrically fixing portions lying on a first straight line. The third, fifth, seventh and eighth resilient pins have the bent electrically fixing portions lying on a second straight line. The vertices of the bent electrical contact portions lie on a third straight line. The first through third straight lines are parallel to and oppose the insertion side of the circuit board.

  • Publication number: 20160126676
Abstract: A pin structure of a modular jack has eight resilient pins. The two intermediate resilient pins have two electrically conducting segments vertically spaced apart and are each wide and have two electrically contacting segments transversely spaced apart and are each slender, whereas the other resilient pins are transversely and consecutively spaced apart and disposed on two sides of the two intermediate resilient pins and are each slender. The electrically fixing ends of the first, third, fifth, seventh resilient pins lie in a first straight line. The electrically fixing ends of the second, fourth, sixth, eighth resilient pins lie in a second straight line. The first and second straight lines are spaced apart and lie on the same plane. The resilient pins have V-shaped electrically contacting portions lying in a third straight line. Hence, the pin structure of a modular jack reduces crosstalk and loss and thereby meets strict standards.
