    Abstract: An organic electroluminescence device of an embodiment includes a first electrode, a second electrode, and an emission layer between the first electrode and the second electrode and containing an aromatic compound, wherein the aromatic compound includes a benzene ring, two unsubstituted carbazole groups directly bonded to the benzene ring, two substituted carbazole groups directly bonded to the benzene ring and each substituted with a nitrogen-containing ring group, and a substituent directly bonded to the benzene ring and selected from a cyano group, a fluorine, or a C1-C10 alkyl group substituted with a fluorine. The organic electroluminescence device may obtain good luminous efficiency and long life (long lifespan) characteristics while emitting blue light.
