  • Publication number: 20070133148
Abstract: Provided are an electric double-layer capacitor which can have a reduced internal resistance and an improved withstand voltage with a simple structure, and a method for manufacturing the capacitor. The electric double-layer capacitor uses an alloy of carbon and aluminum as a material of the electrode. The electrode is formed by applying carbon to an aluminum foil and heating the aluminum foil with carbon thereon to a temperature at which the aluminum foil and the carbon are alloyed.

  • Patent number: 7115518
Abstract: After forming a first insulating film of a silicon nitride film, a silicon nitrided oxide film or a silicon carbide film, a second insulating film of a silicon oxide film is formed on the first insulating film. In a chamber of a high density plasma etching system, the second insulating film is selectively etched by using a first etching gas including a fluorocarbon gas having a cyclic structure as a principal constituent, so as to form an upper hole in the second insulating film. Subsequently, in the same chamber, the first insulating film is selectively etched by using a second etching gas including an oxygen gas as a principal constituent, so as to form a lower hole continuous to the upper hole in the first insulating film.

  • Publication number: 20060170270
Abstract: A seat back lock is included in a seat back of a vehicle. A knob is provided at the top of the seat back. A passenger in the vehicle pushes down the knob to cause the seat back to move from a standing position to a folding position on a seat. In the standing position, a striker extending from the body of the vehicle engages with a hook of the seat back lock. The seat back lock comprises a binding lever and a warning lever connected to the knob. Whenever the strike engages with the hook, the binding lever, directly contacts the striker. If the striker incompletely engages with or disengages from the hook, the knob is pulled down by the warning lever to expose an indicator to permit the passenger to visually recognize it.

  • Patent number: 5627700
Abstract: A floating type composite magnetic head includes a slider, having an air bearing surface, made of a non-magnetic substance, a magnetic head core which is formed of a pair of magnetic cores defining a magnetic gap, or a pair of magnetic cores having a magnetic gap defined by a butting surface on which is formed a magnetic metallic thin film, and is fixed by bonding glass in a groove provided in a flow-out end of the air bearing of the slider, excitation coils wound in a window section of the head core, and a front gap surface of the magnetic head core being placed so as to oppose the magnetic recording medium. The magnetic head core back surface and the slider rear surface are formed as to be flush at least in the vicinity of the groove, and preferably have a maximum surface roughness of 3 to 8 .mu.m.

  • Patent number: 3946093
Abstract: An improvement is disclosed in a process for preparing a polyphosphonate which comprises polycondensing an aromatic diol having the formula (I) - (IV) ##SPC1##wherein Z represents chlorine or bromine atom or a lower alkyl group and m represents 0 or an integer of from 1 to 4 and n represents 0 or an integer of from 1 to 3; Y represents an alkylene group, cycloalkylene group, sulfonyl group, carbonyl group or oxygen atom; with a dihalide or arylphosphonic or thiophosphonic acid having the formula (V) ##SPC2##wherein A represents oxygen or sulfur atom; X represents chlorine or bromine atom; Z represents chlorine or bromine atom or a lower alkyl group; and 1 represents 0 or an integer of from 1 to 5, wherein the improvement comprises maintaining a solution of the polyphosphonate at a temperature such that solid polyphosphonate is produced after flashing; and then evaporating all or a part of the solvent from the solution by flashing whereby a porous solid polyphosphonate is formed.
