  • Publication number: 20080006779
Abstract: The process for producing a radiation image conversion panel forms a phosphor layer on a substrate by vapor-phase deposition in a vacuum chamber and subjects the formed phosphor layer to a thermal treatment to obtain the radiation image conversion panel. The phosphor layer is protected by a selectively permeable cover after completion of the vapor-phase deposition until completion of the thermal treatment. Or the foreign matter on a surface of the phosphor layer is removed prior to the thermal treatment performed on the phosphor layer.

  • Patent number: 6707687
Abstract: In a connection structure of a radio frequency circuit of the invention, a jumper line of a jumper member is positioned by an insulating base, and the jumper line has a base part that is located inside a cover to be electrically shielded and terminals that are protruded downward from a lower side of the insulating base. In a state that the jumper line of the jumper member intersects a third conductor, the terminals are inserted through a circuit board to be connected to first and second conductors. Therefore, the base part of the jumper line is electrically shielded by the cover, which achieves satisfactory RF characteristics.

  • Patent number: 6580400
Abstract: A radiation section of a dielectric feeder protrudes from an opening of a waveguide to improve the efficiency of receiving radio signals. An opening is provided at one end of the waveguide. A dielectric feeder held within the waveguide has a radiation section protruding from the opening. An annular wall having a bottom surrounds the opening of the waveguide. The depth of the annular wall is about ¼ of the wavelength of radio waves, and the width of a bottom surface of the annular wall is about ⅙ to {fraction (1/10)} of the wavelength of the radio waves. Consequently, the phases of a surface current that flows from the opening toward the bottom surface of the annular wall and a surface current which flows from the bottom surface of the annular wall toward the open end are substantially out of phase. As a result, the side lobes of the received radio signals are greatly reduced, and the gain of the main lobe is increased, improving the reception of radio waves transmitted from a satellite.

  • Patent number: 6133905
Abstract: An input apparatus is capable of recognizing an order of selection of a plurality of options displayed in a display region. The input apparatus includes a display unit having the display region with a predetermined coordinate system set thereto, an operating unit including a select key assigned to a direction parallel to one reference axis set in the display region, and a display control unit. The display control unit first causes a predetermined number of options to be displayed in the display region in such an arrangement that predetermined reference points within the options do not have overlapping coordinates in the direction parallel to the reference axis, and that the options form a plurality of rows and a plurality of columns. Then, the display control unit selects one of the options. When the select key of the operating unit is operated by a user, the one option is changed according to the order of selection in response to the key operation.
