  • Patent number: 7369488
Abstract: A packet synthesizing unit packetizes transmit data and thereby creates a transmit packet data, and more specifically, synthesizes the number of the transmit data indicated by a packet-length information from a packet length controlling unit into a transmit packet data. A frame synthesizing unit appends the packet-length information for transmission to a header of the transmit packet data to thereby create a transmit frame. A wireless transmit unit converts the transmit frame into a wireless transmit signal and wirelessly transmits the wireless transmit signal. In the wireless transmission, the packet length controlling unit controls the packet length of the transmit data according to a transmit rate in the wireless transmit unit. The packet length controlling unit reduces the packet length when the transmit rate is relatively high and extends the packet length when the transmit rate is relatively low. This improves the transmission efficiency and communication quality.

  • Patent number: 5066765
Abstract: This invention relates to a poly(azomethine-ester) having a repeating structural unit of the following formula [1] ##STR1## wherein Ar.sub.1 and Ar.sub.2, which may be the same or different, are selected from phenylene or divalent organic radicals terminated with an aromatic ring on the both ends of the each radical, respectively, and R.sub.1 is selected from hydrogen, alkyl, alkoxy or aryl radical. The poly(azomethine-esters) according to the present invention are soluble in common organic solvents and have film-forming ability and heat-resistance.

  • Patent number: 4747855
Abstract: A solid adsorbent for an unsaturated hydrocarbon including (a) (i) a copper(I) halide or oxide or (ii) a halide, carboxylate, sulfate, basic salt, oxide, or amine complex salt of copper(II) and (b) activated carbon or graphite is described. This solid adsorbent can effectively adsorb an unsaturated hydrocarbon such as ethylene from a gas mixture by being placed in contact with the gas mixture at a temperature of -40.degree. C. to 90.degree. C. under normal pressure.

  • Patent number: 4696682
Abstract: A solid adsorbent comprising:(a) at least one copper(I) halide, (b) at least one aluminum(III) halide, and (c) polystyrene or its derivatives; or(a) at least one copper(I) halide, (b) at least one aluminum(III) halide, and (c') activated carbon or graphite. This solid adsorbent can effectively adsorb carbon monoxide from a gas mixture containing 1% to 99% by volume of carbon monoxide. Furthermore, the adsorbents comprising components (a), (b) and (c'), or components (a), (b) and (c) prepared by using nonaromatic solvents can effectively adsorb carbon monoxide from a gas mixture containing up to approximately 40,000 ppm of water.

  • Patent number: 4675309
Abstract: There is disclosed an adsorbent comprising a macroreticular polystyrene type resin having amino groups selected from the group consisting of primary, secondary and tertiary amino groups and combinations thereof, and a copper(I) halide fixed to the macroreticular polystyrene type resin. Such an adsorbent has been found to be advantageously employed for the selective adsorption-separation of a gas from a gaseous mixture.

  • Patent number: 4587114
Abstract: A solid form adsorbent of carbon monoxide, that is obtained by the process including the following steps. First, copper salts or copper oxide is stirred in a solvent. Then, into the solution or suspension thus obtained, active carbon is added. Finally, the solvent is removed by means of pressure reduction, distillation, etc. The carbon monoxide adsorbent produced according to this invention adsorbs carbon monoxide rapidly when it is brought into contact with a mixed gas. The adsorbed carbon monoxide can be readily separated and discharged through either heating the carbon monoxide adsorbent to above 60.degree. C. or reducing the partial pressure of carbon monoxide. The carbon monoxide obtained in accordance with the present invention is stable relative to the water content in the mixed gas, and it is capable of separating carbon monoxide directly from the mixed gas containing the water. Also, the separated carbon monoxide does not contain the vapor of the solvent from the carbon monoxide adsorbent.
