  • Publication number: 20220319203
Abstract: A distracted-driving monitoring apparatus for a vehicle includes an imaging device and a determiner. The imaging device is configured to capture an image indicating at least an occupant of the vehicle. The determiner is configured to make a determination on distracted driving of the occupant of the vehicle based on the captured image. The determiner is configured to determine areas in the captured image corresponding to areas that the occupant faces from among divided areas obtained by dividing a viewing range. The viewing range corresponds to a range where the occupant is likely to face while the vehicle is in operation. The determiner is configured to execute determination processing differently for each of the determined areas to make the determination on the distracted driving of the occupant.

  • Patent number: 10131276
Abstract: A vehicle sightline guidance apparatus includes a display member displaying an image on either one one a see-through windshield and screen that allow a vehicle occupant to visually recognize outside of a vehicle; a scenery-information acquiring unit acquiring scenery information visually recognized by the occupant from inside the vehicle; and a perspective-position specifying unit specifying a perspective position, which is a position on the windshield or screen that a sightline passes when the occupant visually recognizes a predicted path of the vehicle or a position where left and right edges of the predicted path are projected, based on the scenery information. Based on the perspective position, the display member displays two reference marks on the windshield or screen such that the marks are separated from each other by a distance equivalent to a vehicle width or larger and appear to be aligned with the left and right edges.

  • Publication number: 20160048811
Abstract: In this diagnostic inquiry device and diagnostic inquiry method, types of abnormal sound that are or that accompany malfunction symptoms are included among options for obtaining information pertaining to malfunction symptoms. When the contents of malfunction symptoms are related to the occurrence of an abnormal sound in a device that is the subject of diagnosis, a control unit outputs from a sample abnormal sound output unit a sample abnormal sound that is on the basis of a plurality of types of sample abnormal sound data stored in an external server or a storage unit of the diagnostic inquiry device.

  • Patent number: 5130413
Abstract: A process for producing an unsaturated group-terminated high-molecular weight polyalkylene oxide by adding an alkali metal and/or an alkali metal compound capable of producing an alkali metal hydroxide on reaction with water to a hydroxyl-terminated polyalkylene oxide having a repeating unit represented by formula --R.sup.1 --O-- (wherein R.sup.1 represents a divalent alkylene group having from 2 to 8 carbon atoms) to substitute the hydrogen atom of the hydroxyl end group with an alkali metal (alkoxidation) the resulting polyalkylene oxide is reacted with a polyhalogen compound to increase the molecular weight of the polyalkylene oxide and then additional alkali metal and/or alkali metal compound is added before reacting the resulting high-molecular weight polyalkylene oxide with an unsaturated halogen compound to introduce an unsaturated group to the molecular chain terminals.
