  • Publication number: 20050214056
Abstract: A printer 1 includes a sheet storage unit 6 in which a stack of sheets can be set, a pickup roller 12 which contacts one side of the stack of sheets set in the sheet storage unit 6, and a lid 10 which covers the other side of the stack of sheets. In this structure, each sheet 7 is conveyed toward a print mechanism unit 14 by the revolution of the pickup roller 12. The printer 1 is provided with first ribs 10a and a second rib 3a which forcibly curl the sheets 7 set in the sheet storage unit 6 in the sheet width direction.

  • Publication number: 20050162501
Abstract: A cutting edge of a movable blade mounted to a cutter holder is inclined at an oblique cross angle. The cutting edge of the movable blade obliquely intersects a roll sheet placed on a cutter plate in its cutting direction. This ensures that the cutting edge cuts the roll sheet sharply. On this regard, this oblique cross angle has an influence on the number of times that the cutting edge is capable of cutting. An appropriate range of the oblique cross angle is 24° and 34°. The oblique cross angle is an angle formed between an upper surface of the cutter plate and the cutting edge in the cutting direction of the movable blade.

  • Publication number: 20050147451
Abstract: A tape printer includes a holder support member at one side end in a roll sheet holder storage part in a direction substantially perpendicular to a feeding direction. In the holder support member, a mounting piece which is substantially rectangular in section and formed protruding outward on a positioning holding member of a roll sheet holder is fitted. The tape printer further includes a flat portion formed substantially horizontally between a rear edge of an insertion opening through which a roll sheet is inserted into the tape printer. On the flat portion, a front portion of a guide member is placed. At a rear edge of the flat portion in the feeding direction, at plural positions corresponding to various kinds of the roll sheets having different widths, there are formed four second positioning grooves in which part of the guide member is fitted.

  • Patent number: 6440549
Abstract: A printing sheet used in a stamp includes a porous layer in which ink can be impregnated and a fibrous layer provided to a side of the porous layer opposite to the pattern. The porous layer carries a pattern on a surface thereof, the pattern including a non-print portion which blocks the permeation of the ink and a print portion which allows the permeation of the ink. The fibrous layer prevents the deformation of the porous layer. The fibrous layer is so constituted that ink can be impregnated therein.

  • Patent number: 6112662
Abstract: A stamp unit 1 is formed so that the circumference of the stamp material 3 is made as a slant surface 83 by heat-pressing both the lower end 4a of the holder 4 and the circumference of the stamp material 3. The lower end 4a of the holder 4 is formed in a wedge 82 so as to hook the circumference of the stamp material 3. Thereby the stamp material 3 can be surely retained to the holder 4, and the stamp material 3 and the holder 4 can be firmly sealed. As a result, stamping durability is remarkably improved when many stamping operations are repeated.

  • Patent number: 6030743
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a pattern sheet for plate-making capable of easily forming a positive image through the use of a photographic negative film. In this method, as a first step, a negative film with a printed negative image is placed on a surface of a light transmission sheet carrying a photosensitive color-developing layer containing a photosensitive color-developing material which makes a color development in response to light. Further, as a second step, the light is applied thereto from the negative film side after the first step. As a result of the application of the light, a color development takes place in the photosensitive color-developing layer due to the light passing through the negative image, thus causing a positive image to be formed on the surface of the light transmission sheet.

  • Patent number: 5996493
Abstract: A stamp unit has a transparent film which protects a stamp surface of the stamp material at the time of transportation of the stamp unit, during storage until a user starts to produce a stamp after purchasing the stamp unit, and during production of the stamp plate. The transparent film is thermally adhered on the lower edge of the holder member and is capable of protecting the surface of the stamp material until the start of the stamp printing. The transparent film is capable of easily and economically adhering to the stamp material without adhering to a thermal adhesion jig.

  • Patent number: 5595112
Abstract: A guide hole 18 is formed in a left side wall 17 of a grip 2 provided to a stamp assembly 1. When the stamp assembly 1 is mounted to a thermal perforation unit 50, a guide bar 38 provided to the thermal perforation unit 50 is inserted into the guide hole 18. A protector clasp 18a for opening and closing the guide hole 18 is provided to the left side wall 17. The protector clasp 18a can be manually slid up and down in a protector clasp groove 17a. When the protector clasp 18a is in a lower position shown in FIG. 1 (a), the guide hole 18 is closed so that the stamp assembly 1 can not be mounted to the thermal perforation unit 50. When the protector clasp 18a is in an upper position shown in FIG. 1 (b), the guide hole 18 is closed so that the stamp assembly 1 can be mounted to the-thermal perforation unit 50.

  • Patent number: 5483880
Abstract: A stamp unit includes a grip portion to be grasped by a hand, a stamp portion that is fixedly linked to the grip portion, a skirt member covering the outer peripheral side of the stamp side, and a protection cap that is freely detachably mounted on the stamp portion. The skirt member is upwardly and downwardly slidably supported. At its nonuse time, the lower end of the skirt member projects to a position lower than a print face portion of the stamp portion. However, by locating the stamp unit at a print position and pressing the grip portion, the skirt member is moved upwardly, and the print face portion of the stamp member is pressed against a print surface, whereby ink oozes out from the print face portion to perform the print operation. The stamp unit is further provided with plural engaging holes formed at the lower portion of the grip member and plural engaging pawls that are provided at the upper portion of the stamp member and elastically engaged with the respective engaging holes.

  • Patent number: 5476038
Abstract: A stamp apparatus prevents a used stencil plate from being used again for making a plate. The apparatus includes a reflective photo sensor that determines if thermal paper of the currently set stencil plate is colored from a past plate-making process. On detecting the colored thermal paper, the sensor prompts an LCD to give an alarm display warning the user of the used stencil plate. Alternatively, a retractable projection interferes with insertion of a used stencil plate. In both cases, the stamp apparatus remains disabled until the used stencil plate is removed. This protects the stamp apparatus from getting soiled or damaged by spilled ink from the used stencil plate set inadvertently by the user.

  • Patent number: 5303647
Abstract: A stencil plate having a heat sensitive stencil paper sheet formed of a thermoplastic film and a porous support member, a non-woven fabric impregnated with ink, a frame member disposed so as to surround the non-woven fabric, an ink-impermeable film, and a peelable surface film having a high temperature heat resisting property that is superior to the thermoplastic film. The surface film may be a peelable member or there may be a peelable member adhered to the surface film so as to peel both, the peelable member having a projecting portion. When the projecting portion which projects from a frame member, is gripped and pulled, the surface film on a stenciled face, is gradually peeled away and removed from the stenciled face so that a heat sensitive stencil paper sheet in the stenciled condition is exposed.

  • Patent number: 5225867
Abstract: A chromatic image recording apparatus comprises a gradation control member, an image reading member, a hue characteristics calculating member and a hue characteristics control member. In the chromatic image recording apparatus, the optimum exposing conditions of an original having a deviated color balance can be easily established. The output chromatic image of desired quality can be obtained, irrespective of any hue characteristics of the chromatic image on the original. When a brightness characteristics calculating member and a brightness characteristics control member replace the hue characteristics calculating member and the hue characteristics control member, the output chromatic image of desired quality can be obtained, irrespective of any brightness characteristics of the chromatic image on the original.
