  • Patent number: 10198663
Abstract: A system for predicting occurrence of a defective image includes: an input device configured to input image data into an image forming apparatus; and a hardware processor configured to analyze a spatial frequency of gradient distribution of an image in accordance with a size of a density irregularity specific to the image forming apparatus with respect to the input image data and to calculate a probability of a conspicuous density irregularity of the size in regard to the image formed by the image forming apparatus based on the image data with reference to an index of correlation between an analysis result and an evaluation value of the density irregularity.

  • Patent number: 8790280
Abstract: To provide a human state estimating device which accurately estimates a human state. The human state estimating device includes: a storage unit (16) which stores reference data (17) in which a human state and a reference profile including a horizontal component of a standard microsaccade in the human state are corresponded to each other, for each of plural personal attribute information; a video obtaining unit (11) which obtains video of a user's eyeball, with an eyeball rotation angle accuracy of 0.

  • Publication number: 20080221734
Abstract: The present invention relates to a categorical color perception system which automatically judges a categorical color and aims to judge a categorical color name correctly under various ambient lights. Test color measured at an experiment is inputted to an input layer portion corresponding to test color components 101, illumination light components at the experiment are inputted to an input layer portion corresponding to illumination light components 102, and connection weights are obtained by learning with backpropagation method so as to output a categorical color judged by an examinee.

  • Patent number: 6360008
Abstract: Color data for a color image device having a first color range (gamut) are converted into color data for a color image device having a second color range (gamut). For preventing colors from being altered when color data are converted, first color data in the first color range (gamut) of the first image device is converted into corresponding colors by referring to a classification table representing the correspondence between colors determined based on human color perception and the first color data, and then the first color data is converted into second color data in the second color range (gamut) of the second image device with respect to each of the classified colors. Since each of the colors based on the human color perception is converted, colors are prevented from being altered due to the conversion. Because each of the colors of a color image is converted, the clearness of the color image will not be lost.
