  • Publication number: 20240123427
Abstract: A method for producing core-shell porous silica particles including: a step of forming a shell precursor by continuously adding a silica source-containing liquid into an aqueous suspension containing non-porous silica particles, a cationic surfactant, a basic catalyst, and an alcohol under conditions that a pH of the reaction system is from 7 to 13 and a pH value change of the reaction system is 1.5/10 min to form a shell precursor on a surface of non-porous silica particles; and a step of forming a porous shell by removing the cationic surfactant from the shell precursor, to form a porous shell; wherein in the step of forming the shell precursor, when a specific surface area of the non-porous silica particles is Xm2/g, a used amount of the non-porous silica particles is Yg, and a used amount of the silica source is Zcm3, Z/(XY) being from 0.01 to 10.

  • Patent number: 10722898
Abstract: A vertical roller mill provided with a cyclone-type fixed separator that separates fine powder and allows the separated powder to flow out to the outside, the cyclone-type fixed separator being provided inside a housing, wherein the fixed separator is configured so that a solid-gas two-phase flow is introduced from a fixed blade inlet window opening on a cone into the inside and the solid-gas two-phase flow is swirled using a fixed blade attached in the inside vicinity of the fixed blade inlet window, whereby the fine powder flows out to the outside from a pulverized coal outlet in an upper portion of the vertical roller mill through the lower end side of an inner cylinder provided inside the cone, a surface layer in which the rebound coefficient of collided particles is higher than in an iron plate surface being formed in the outer surface of the inner cylinder.

  • Patent number: 6237341
Abstract: A boiler scale collecting device enables collecting and recovery of most boiler scale particulates (p) in a steam flow line (f) in a steam pipe (02) extending from a power generation steam boiler to an inlet (01′) of a power generation steam turbine (01). The steam pipe (02), of constant inner diameter (d), extends from the boiler side to the inlet (01′) of the steam turbine (01), and turns at direction turning portion (e) from a vertical steam pipe (02′) to a lateral steam pipe (02″) near the inlet (01″) of the steam turbine (01). The vertical steam pipe (02′) is elongated beyond the direction turning portion (e) to form an elongated portion (02′a) having a lower end (02″a). The direction turning portion (e), including the vertical steam pipe (02′) and the lateral steam pipe (02″), and the elongated portion (02′a) are made in an integral unit of forged steel.

  • Patent number: 6068469
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a combustion apparatus in which a space which does not contribute effectively to the combustion of fuel is less prone to be produced in a furnace because burners are not disposed at the corners of the furnace. The furnace having a square horizontal cross section is provided with the burners so that an in-furnace injection direction axis line of the burner is tangent to an imaginary circle. The burner is disposed at one place on a front wall, rear wall, right side wall, and left side wall of the furnace each, at a total of four places. The burner on each wall is installed so that the intersection of the in-furnace injection direction axis line of the burner and the furnace wall surface is apart from a furnace corner (corner point) by a length L1. The value of the length L1 is 15% of a length L of one side of width of the inside wall of the furnace when the furnace is viewed from the top.
