  • Patent number: 7455187
Abstract: A traveling crane according to the present invention includes a hook hoisting guide sheave for guiding a hook hoisting rope from the top of a boom toward the end of a jib, and the hook hoisting guide sheave is arranged on the top of the boom in a state that the guide sheave can guide the hook hoisting rope along the upper surface of the boom by folding the rope toward an upper spreader placed at a position adjacent to a boom anchor during assembling/disassembling of the crane. Thereby, the upper spreader can be moved between the boom anchor and a far end of the boom without providing a guide sheave dedicated for moving the upper spreader. Pairs of support legs are downward provided on both sides and in front and in rear of the upper spreader and a roller is provided for each support leg, so that interference between the upper spreader during movement and obstacles on the boom upper surface can be prevented even in a horizontal movement system excellent in operating efficiency.

  • Patent number: 7290671
Abstract: A crane performs a self-assembling/disassembling operation using a hoisting winch, a hoisting rope, and a hanging hook, and includes a sheave device for guiding the hoisting rope on an upper portion of a lower boom. The sheave device includes a first sheave on a rear side of the lower boom and second and third sheaves on a front side of the lower boom. The second and third sheaves are arranged next to each other in the left-right direction, and the rope end is attached to the lower boom at a position near the top end of the lower boom. Accordingly, a lifting height in the self-assembling/disassembling operation is increased and the rope end can be attached/detached easily and safely from the front side of the lower boom when the lower boom is laid on the ground.

  • Patent number: 7216774
Abstract: The present invention provides a crane where a spreader retainer is disposed on a rear surface of an extreme end of the lowest boom portion used both for a tower boom and a normal boom, a distance between an upper spreader, which constitutes a boom raising/lowering apparatus, and a lower spreader at the maximum boom raise angle and the length of the lowest boom portion are set such that the upper spreader can be lowered to the position of the spreader retainer if the boom raising/lowering apparatus lays the boom on the ground, and a boom raising/lowering rope is then loosened for disassembly of either the tower or normal boom. Consequently, the upper spreader can be lowered to the position of the spreader retainer on the lowest boom portion when the boom is disassembled either for the tower crane or normal crane specification.

  • Patent number: 6895531
Abstract: Each of duplicated incoming line cards, connected to respective input ports of a self-routing switch, receives an incoming packet, determines an output port of the switch based on an address contained in the packet using routing information stored in a routing table, converts the packet into intra-node cells of fixed length and forwards the cells to the switch so that the cells are routed to the output port. Each of duplicated outgoing line cards, connected to output ports of the switch, receives intra-node cells from the switch, converts the cells into a packet, forwards the packet to an outgoing transmission line, and monitors the outgoing transmission line. A fault indication is sent to the incoming line cards if a fault condition is detected in the monitored line. Each incoming line card responds to this indication for updating its table so that traffic is routed to a normally operating outgoing line.
