  • Patent number: 11942819
Abstract: A control device includes an electric motor, a battery, a capacitor, a power source selection portion, a determination unit configured to determine whether the battery is normal, and a control unit configured to select, as a control mode of the electric motor, one of a first mode and a second mode in which a power consumption amount of the electric motor is reduced as compared to when the electric motor is driven in the first mode, and drive the electric motor in the selected control mode. When the battery is transitioned from a state of being determined to be normal to a state of being determined to be not normal, the control unit switches the control mode from the first mode to the second mode and then makes the power source selection portion select the capacitor.

  • Patent number: 6912089
Abstract: A process of producing an optical diffusion film which comprises at least a transparent base layer on a transparent substrate, a layer of transparent microspheres over the transparent base layer and a light absorbing layer over said transparent base layer comprises the steps of: distributing transparent microspheres in a layer over the transparent base layer so that each the transparent microsphere is partly embedded in the transparent base layer; and by coating a solution layer of coloring material that is convertible into fine metal particles and treating the solution layer of coloring material under specified conditions so as thereby to convert the solution layer of coloring material into a layer of fine metal particles that are light absorbable.

  • Patent number: 6903035
Abstract: An inorganic composition comprises an inorganic matrix, wherein an inorganic layered compound is contained in the inorganic matrix. The inorganic matrix is preferably a metal oxide glass produced by a sol-gel method, and the inorganic layered compound is preferably swelling synthetic mica. A method of producing a film includes the steps of: hydrolyzing, dehydrating, and condensing an organic metal compound to obtain a reaction product; adding and dispersing the inorganic layered compound in the reaction product; coating the reaction product containing the inorganic layered compound on a substrate surface; and heating the substrate surface coated with the reaction product at a temperature of not more than 200° C. to vitrify the reaction product.

  • Patent number: 5977019
Abstract: A multi-color heat-sensitive recording material including a support and two or more heat-sensitive recording layers formed on the support, wherein the support is a sheet-like substrate formed such that a resin layer is formed at least on the side of a base paper where the heat-sensitive recording layers are formed, and the surface of the sheet-like substrate on the side where the heat-sensitive recording layers are formed has a three-dimensional surface roughness of not more than 0.3 .mu.m as measured at a filter wavelength of 0.8 to 2.5 mm before thermal recording is performed. The three-dimensional surface roughness of the sheet-like substrate is not more than 0.4 .mu.m as measured at a filter wavelength of 0.8 to 2.5 mm after thermal recording is performed. The support is constructed of a sheet-like substrate having a resin layer on each of base paper. The rigidity of the sheet-like substrate as defined by JIS P8125 is 1.5 to 8.0 gf.multidot.cm, preferably 3.0 to 6.0 gf.multidot.
