  • Patent number: 9760163
Abstract: A microcomputer which constitutes an ECU transmits a start/stop signal and a crank angle signal to an analog input circuit. The analog input circuit is activated when the start/stop signal is received. The A/D converter converts a sensor signal into a digital signal. The digital processor detects a peak value of the digital signal. A counter restarts a counting operation when the crank angle signal is received. A data register sends a detected data of the peak value as a specified information adding by a count value and an information of the crank angle signal to the microcomputer. The microcomputer acquires the crank angle of the specified information by computing the crank angle from the detected data.

  • Patent number: 9658080
Abstract: An in-vehicle electronic control unit (ECU) for correcting an error introduced to a sensor output signal as a result of amplification is provided. An output voltage of first and second voltage generators and after-amplification voltages of such output voltages are respectively A/D converted for input into a linear function. A microcomputer adjusts the output voltage of the first and second voltage generators which are amplified by the amplification circuit so that the output signals of the first and second voltage generators are adjusted to increase a voltage difference between the two. The increased voltage difference allows accurate identification of the linear function and removal of the error that is introduced to the sensor output signal during the course of processing by the amplification circuit.

  • Patent number: 9523621
Abstract: An electronic control system includes a microcomputer and a signal processing circuit, and receives output signals of an in-cylinder pressure sensor and a crank angle sensor. The output signal of the pressure sensor indicates an output voltage of a piezoelectric transducer and a reference voltage. The signal processing circuit includes a hold circuit and a differential amplifier circuit. The differential amplifier circuit amplifies a difference between the output signal of the pressure sensor and the output signal of the hold circuit and outputs the result to the microcomputer. The hold circuit switches over the output signals in response to a switchover instruction of the microcomputer. When the switchover instruction is a set instruction, the hold circuit holds as its output signal the output signal of the pressure sensor outputted at the time of receiving the set instruction. The microcomputer outputs the set instruction to the hold circuit in response to the output signal of the crank angle sensor.
