  • Publication number: 20160113243
Abstract: The invention comprises a novel pet toy and treat trainer wherein plastic interlocking pieces simulate vertebrae of perceived prey. Edible discs are integrated alternately with the interlocking vertebrae so that an animal can “catch and consume” the simulated prey. The pieces reside on an inner frame of rope so that the entire toy is pliable. An animal head and tail make up the front and rear interlocking pieces and are also constructed of chewable, but non-edible materials.

  • Publication number: 20140320681
Abstract: Several methods, devices and systems for correcting rolling shutter artifacts are described. In one embodiment, an image capturing system includes a rolling shutter image sensor that may cause a rolling shutter artifact (e.g., warping). The system includes a processing system that is configured to perform an automatic rolling shutter correction mechanism that utilizes calibration data based on a relationship between pixel locations in an image plane of the image sensor and their corresponding rays of light in a coordinate space. The rolling shutter mechanism determines pixel velocity components based on the calibration data and estimates for each image an aggregate pixel velocity based on an aggregation of the pixel velocity components.

  • Patent number: 8341889
Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to barrier assemblies, and more particularly, to the coupling of a barrier operator to the barrier that the operator is to move. In one embodiment, a barrier operator coupling includes a wedge member that is fixedly attached to an output shaft of the barrier operator. A housing is brought to bear against a wedge member, and an adjustment device is used to maintain the force between the wedge member and the housing.

  • Publication number: 20120088009
Abstract: A method of providing a cognitive performance snack food to a user includes producing a multitude of snack food pieces, placing the multitude of snack food pieces in snack packaging adapted to be self-standing when placed on a general horizontal surface, and providing a saleable performance snack food item to consumers for use during computer or video game activity. Some snack food pieces include a snack food base, a mixture of cognitive performance additives; and in some cases an outer shell. The snack pieces and snack packaging together define the saleable performance snack food item, which can be consumed with one hand and while operating computer or video gaming equipment.

  • Publication number: 20100197429
Abstract: A multi-purpose implement is provided, including a racquet, having a handle portion and a flexible planar area held under tension by a frame, and a ball basket attached to the racquet and adapted to lift a ball directly from a generally horizontal surface. A method of using the implement, without contacting the ball with one's hands, includes holding the handle portion in one or both hands, maneuvering the ball basket into contact with a ball lying on a generally horizontal surface, lifting the ball directly from the generally horizontal surface with the ball basket, tossing the ball from the ball basket into the air, and while the ball is in the air, striking the ball with the racquet.
