  • Publication number: 20210393168
Abstract: Techniques for user authentication via in-ear acoustic measurements are disclosed. An in-ear device emits an acoustic signal and detects an otic response to the acoustic signal. A user signature is generated based at least on the otic response to the acoustic signal. The user signature is compared with a reference signature, to determine whether the in-ear device has changed users.

  • Publication number: 20210330902
Abstract: A method and apparatus deliver dry, flowable hemostatic powder into a gas flow stream by gravity delivery within a body of the apparatus. The hemostatic powder is then carried with the gas out of the apparatus into an elongated delivery tube inserted into a patient. Delivery of the powder into the gas flow stream creates a bolus of powder and air which becomes more uniformly distributed as it passes through the elongated delivery tube.

  • Patent number: 11113717
Abstract: Systems and methods provide a customer engagement platform experimentation framework. Experiments are created to determine which variation of a particular promotion (i.e., an experiment) is most effective. Initially, users are split into buckets that define whether a particular user is in a control group or a treatment group for a particular experiment. Users are assigned into buckets differently for unrelated experiments and similarly for related experiments. This ensures the users are in either the control group or the treatment group for all related experiments. Key performance indicators (KPIs) of users that experienced the experiment are compared with KPIs of users that did not experience the experiment. An assessment of the experiment can then be provided based on the compared KPIs.

Abstract: Various embodiments of the present technology can include systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media configured to receive information about a plurality of regions contained within a hierarchy of a computer network environment, wherein the plurality of regions are assigned respective prime numbers. A first prime number assigned to a first region of the plurality of regions is determined. A second prime number assigned to a second region of the plurality of regions, wherein the second prime number is different from the first prime number is determined. A nearest common region in the hierarchy that includes the first region and the second region based on the respective prime numbers is identified. • Publication number: 20210010674
Abstract: A premixer for a gas turbine combustor includes a centerbody, a swirler assembly, and a mixing duct. The swirler assembly includes an inner swirler with vanes that rotate air in a first direction and an outer swirler with vanes that rotate air in an opposite direction. The inner swirler vanes and the outer swirler vanes are separated by an annular splitter. The outer swirler vanes define an outlet plane, and the inner swirler vanes each have a trailing edge that is disposed at an acute angle relative to the outlet plane. In one aspect, the inner swirler is axially offset from the outer swirler. The mixing duct may also define fuel passages that deliver fuel to fuel outlets on the downstream end of the mixing duct. The premixer is designed for operation on gaseous fuel or liquid fuel.
