  • Publication number: 20240126333
Abstract: An electronic device includes a flexible display and a device housing that defines a translation surface for the flexible display. A blade assembly is positioned between the flexible display and the translation surface. A rotor is positioned within a curvilinear section of the blade assembly and flexible display. • Publication number: 20240126120
Abstract: A display may have a pixel array such as a liquid crystal pixel array. The pixel array may be illuminated with backlight illumination from a direct-lit backlight unit. The backlight unit may include an array of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) on a printed circuit board. The display may have a notch to accommodate an input-output component. Reflective layers may be included in the notch. The backlight may include a color conversion layer with a property that varies as a function of position. The light-emitting diodes may be covered by a slab of encapsulant with recesses in an upper surface.

  • Patent number: 11550676
Abstract: A method for protecting data in a storage system is disclosed. In one embodiment, such a method includes detecting, by a first hardware management console, first battery-on status associated with a first uninterruptible power supply. The method further detects, by a second hardware management console, second battery-on status associated with a second uninterruptible power supply. The method communicates, from the first hardware management console to the second hardware management console, the first battery-on status. The method then triggers, by the second hardware management console, a dump of modified data from memory to more persistent storage upon detecting both the first battery-on status and the second battery-on status. A corresponding system and computer program product are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11010228
Abstract: Methods that can identify distributed objects that are subject to service are disclosed herein. One method includes receiving, by a processor, a service event from a first server in which the service event includes a first object in the first server that is subject to service and for which the first server is unable to determine an identity of the first object. The method further includes determining the identity of the first object based on a first object model for a second server and notifying a user of the identity of the first object in the first server that is subject to service. Apparatus, systems, and computer program products that can include, perform, and/or implement the methods are also disclosed herein.
