  • Patent number: 10936264
Abstract: A method, computer program product and computer system to improve print legibility is provided. A processor receives a file to print. A processor generates a print preview of the file, wherein the print preview is generated at an initial scale. A processor generates a preview text for the print preview. A processor determines a legibility metric based for the print preview on a comparison between the preview text for the print preview and text of the file to print. A processor prints the file at a second scale in response to the legibility metric being below a predetermined value, wherein the second scale is larger than the initial scale.

  • Publication number: 20200365186
Abstract: An embodiment of the invention may include a method, computer program product and computer system for video editing. The method, computer program product and computer system may include computing device which may receive video data from an imaging device, the video data may include visual and audio data. The computing device may convert the audio data to text and parse the text into textual segments. The computing device may annotate the textual segments with time stamps and analyze the annotated textual segments to identify pre-determined edit commands. The computing device may generate an edit script based on the identified pre-determined edit commands in the textual segments.

  • Publication number: 20200226135
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are directed to a computer-implemented method for determining topic specific reliability for a question answering system. A non-limiting example of the computer-implemented method includes receiving a topic specific input query by the question answering system. The method further includes detecting a source that provides a reference containing the ground truth answers to the ground truth questions. The method further includes traversing sources detect similar references in other sources and assigning reliability scores for each source based upon ground truth answers in the other sources. The method further includes providing a ranked list of answers based upon the reliability of each source upon for each answer.

  • Publication number: 20200218988
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes generating from a corpus a knowledge graph comprising a plurality of nodes interconnected by a plurality of edges. Each node of the plurality of nodes represents an entity extracted from the corpus. Each edge of the plurality of edges represents a relationship between corresponding entities extracted from the corpus. The knowledge graph includes a plurality of source passages extracted from the corpus from which the plurality of edges was generated. A generative language model is trained, for each edge of the plurality of edges, to associate two or more related entities by utilizing the knowledge graph. Using the trained generative language model, one or more passages representing the edge of the knowledge graph are generated for each edge of the knowledge graph.

  • Publication number: 20200159757
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes receiving a plurality of question, answer, passage (QAP) triples. Each of the plurality of QAP triples includes a question, an answer to the question and a passage containing the answer to the question. The received plurality of QAP triples is parsed to generate two or more patterns. The generated patterns are merged together to identify clusters of semantically related patterns.

  • Publication number: 20200159824
Abstract: Embodiments relate to an intelligent computer platform to provide a contextual response to an interrogatory. An electronic communication interface or portal is dynamically evaluated by an artificial intelligence (AI) platform. Natural language processing (NLP) is utilized to detect and evaluate a communication, identify an interrogatory within the communication, and determine an intent of the interrogatory. A corresponding factoid pipeline is searched for content related to the intent, and a response to the interrogatory is ascertained, formulated, and presented to the electronic communication interface.
