  • Patent number: 11954610
Abstract: Techniques are described for performing active surveillance and learning for machine learning (ML) model authoring and deployment workflows. In an embodiment, a method comprises applying, by a system comprising a processor, a primary ML model trained on a training dataset to data samples excluded from the training dataset to generate inferences based on the data samples. The method further comprises employing, by the system, one or more active surveillance techniques to regulate performance of the primary ML model in association with the applying, wherein the one or more active surveillance techniques comprise at least one of, performing a model scope evaluation of the primary ML model relative to the data samples or using a domain adapted version of the primary ML model to generate the inferences.

  • Patent number: 10934456
Abstract: A method of forming an asphalt mixture can include mixing a bio-source material and a bitumen source to form a bitumen mixture. The bitumen mixture can be mixed with a catalyst to form the asphalt mixture. Particles can be added to the asphalt mixture to form a roofing-grade asphalt mixture. In an embodiment, the bitumen source material can have a softening point of at least approximately 93° C. and a penetration distance no greater than approximately 25 dmm. In another embodiment, the roofing-grade asphalt mixture can have a softening point of at least approximately 104° C., a penetration distance no greater than approximately 12 dmm, a viscosity of at least approximately 3000 cps at a temperature of 204° C., or any combination thereof. The asphalt mixture can be applied to a base material to form a roofing product. The asphalt mixture can be applied as a pavement product.

  • Patent number: 7532438
Abstract: A wireless disk drive suspension and method of manufacture in which curvilinear deflections of the plastic film and conductive traces relative to the flexure metal layer provide for containment of the strains accompanying pitch and roll adjustment of the flexure and allow adjustment free of adjusting difficulties and spring back compromise of the adjustment. The curvilinear deflection of the laminate toward the flexure central longitudinal axis and an accompanying bringing in of the flexure frame struts provides a less wide flexure that can more closely approach a disk drive hub for greater capacity in a disk drive.
