  • Patent number: 11253125
Abstract: A vacuum system for vacuuming is disclosed. The vacuum system includes a baseboard cleaning attachment, a floor cleaning attachment, and a hose attachment. Each of the attachments is selectively mounted to a hose of the vacuum system for vacuuming floors, baseboards and tight spaces. The baseboard cleaning attachment includes a brush head having a right-angled portion, and a curved portion. The brush head includes a neck to mount the brush head to the hose. The right-angled portion is aligned with the baseboard and is used to vacuum. The floor cleaning attachment includes an elongated tube, and an under furniture handle mounted to the elongated tube. The elongated tube includes a beater head with a beater. The elongated tube is mounted to the hose, and the under furniture handle is used vacuum under furniture. The hose attachment is in an S-shape for tight spaces.

  • Patent number: 8572062
Abstract: Provided are techniques for retrieving a document that includes for each page an area that is ignored by applications that process the document and that includes a different internal index set associated with each subset of pages of the document, wherein each different internal index set is associated with an area and stores indexes, and wherein each of the indexes consists of a name-value pair. Then, for each page in the document, it is determined whether the page is associated with an internal index set; and, in response to determining that the page is associated with an internal index set, one or more name-value pairs from the internal index set are extracted, wherein each of the one or more name-value pairs provides specific information about the document for use in identifying the document.

  • Patent number: 8161023
Abstract: According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method for inserting a PDF shared resource back into a PDF statement is provided. The method includes storing a set of statements, wherein each statement has been extracted from a document and each statement contains indirect objects. A set of resources is then stored, wherein the resources have been extracted from the document, and the resources include a set of indirect objects. All of the indirect objects in a selected one of the stored statements are then enumerated and a determination is made of which of the indirect objects contain keys. A key value for the enumerated indirect objects containing keys is then read, and the indirect objects in the stored set of resources associated with each key are identified. Stream data is then copied from the indirect objects in the stored set of resources into the selected ones of the stored statements.

  • Patent number: 6099347
Abstract: An electrical shunt for shorting adjacent electrically conductive pins in an array of electrically conductive pins includes an insulative housing containing an electrically conductive contact. The conductive contact preferably includes two longitudinal wipers for making electrical contact with each pin. The longitudinal wipers are connected by a transverse spring portion which provides a normal force between the contact and inserted pins. The shunt has a pin insertion axis which is transverse to the contact insertion axis to prevent the contact from inadvertently being dislodged from the housing during installation or removal of the shunt. When conductive pins are inserted into the housing, the pins are electrically connected between the first and second wipers of the conductive contact. The shunt preferably includes a frangibly attached application tool and extraction tool.
