  • Patent number: 5697617
Abstract: A game includes the head of an animal having a pair of jaws therein which are movable from an opened condition to a closed condition. The jaws are adapted to close upon a play object tossed between them, and a conveyor returns fallen play objects back to the contestants play position. A contestants score is determined by the number of play objects caught between the teeth of the animal head during the play time of the game.

  • Patent number: 5409222
Abstract: An amusement device has an outer track forming a loop surounding a playing field, and is adapted to retain one or more play objects in motion around the outer track. An adjustable motor accelerates the play object within the track to a desired speed, and a lever directs the moving play object from the track to the play field.

  • Patent number: 5044639
Abstract: A game of the type having a large number of balls, a set of targets responsive to contact with the balls, and a scoring mechanism for keeping a score associated with contact between the balls and the targets further includes a tiltable rebound surface. A ball pump raises the balls from an input to an elevated output and discharges the balls from the output to cause the balls to fall in space onto the rebound surface. A user controlled steering mechanism is coupled to the rebound surface to allow a user to tilt the rebound surface as the balls fall onto the rebound surface in order to direct the balls that bounce off of the rebound surface against selected ones of the targets. The ball pump includes a rotatable drive element that is movably mounted adjacent a ball guide to frictionally engage the balls and advance the balls towards the outlet of the ball pump.

  • Patent number: 4306768
Abstract: A multiplanular image creating device includes a housing having a viewing port and primary and secondary image generation chambers therein. The primary chamber is divided into a plurality of cells, each of which contains an image source such as a portion of a video display tube surface or an actual physical object. A plurality of light transmissive two-way mirrors are disposed between the cells and the viewing port. The mirrors may be arranged to increase the perceived depth of field beyond the confines of the image source itself. The mirrors may be selectively movable relative to each other to provide the illusion of movement of a fixed image source. Variations in light intensity of the different images reaching the viewing port may be adjusted or equalized. Non-parallel two-way mirrors may be placed in the light travel path to create multiple images. The secondary image creation chamber contains fixed or movable shelves of varying widths.
