  • Publication number: 20070248647
Abstract: The present invention provides novel means to make a new food, especially as a result of cooking or baking but also with cold food preparation to dilute the fat in such foods. This new food is the result of eliminating sugar and independent flour in pastry by mixing erythritol and either dietary protein and dietary polysaccharides or both together with approximately the same weight of water as the combined solids and then incorporating this mass with other ingredients in a batter to make pastry when subjected to heat. In this way the ghrelin-suppressing action of erythritol in the small intestine will be concentrated the most effectively for maximum effect.

  • Publication number: 20070134383
Abstract: This disclosure pertains to combining the zero-calories prebiotic cellulosic fiber, Z-Trim, with the essentially zero-calories polyol, erythritol, and water to have a sweeter replacer or diluter of fats and sugars in foods than the use of Z-Trim alone.

  • Publication number: 20060030700
Abstract: This invention discloses the formation of a new molecule when one mole only of D-ribose crystalline powder is mixed with one mole only of water at room temperature which new substance is entirely different from the precursor molecule, and a monohydrate of D-ribose is the likely newly discovered molecule formed with both the precursor and the result able to form caramels at below 100° C. so can form relatively low temperature caramel taste when mixed with other sugars.

  • Publication number: 20060029644
Abstract: This invention discloses the spontaneous endothermic chemical reaction at room temperature that anhydrous D-ribose undergoes with one or more molecules, forming new molecules involving the ribose radical and also those reactions that require elevated temperatures for a rapid reaction, including amino acids that form protein and polypeptides, as well as just heating anhydrous D-ribose then cooling it to form the solid amber “rock candy” result.

    Publication date: February 9, 2006

  • Publication number: 20060009637
Abstract: This invention discloses the endothermic reaction that D-ribose undergoes with one or more molecules forming new molecules involving the ribose radical, two such endothermic reactions having been identified as being 1) one mol of D-ribose reacting with one mol of water, resulting in a monohydrate and 2) one mol of ribose reacting with one mol of NaPCA, and finally a mixture of ribose monohydrate and nutrients, herbs, and/or drugs that result in stable edible mixtures of such for consumption.

  • Publication number: 20050069853
Abstract: Embodiments of a performance tracking system and method are disclosed. One method embodiment, among others, includes receiving standardized physical performance test data over a network from a test site, the standardized physical performance test data corresponding to physical performance for a plurality of individuals, and processing the standardized physical performance test data to provide standardized data of physical performance among the plurality of individuals.
