Abstract: A wall block includes a generally rectangular body including a decorative side that has four edges and five other sides; and a spacer integrated to at least one of i) the decorative side and ii) one of the five other sides that is adjacent the decorative side; the spacer being distanced from at least two adjacent edges of the decorative side so as to create a gap between two adjacent wall blocks when they are abutted. A block wall is constructed using a plurality of such wall blocks.

Abstract: Blocks for wall constructions described herein are in the form of casted one-piece concrete hollow bodies. The blocks include front and back walls which are generally parallel to a first axis and have top and bottom ends and two inner walls integral to both front and back walls therebetween that are generally parallel to a second axis which is perpendicular to the first axis. One of the end side faces of the two inner walls includes male connector portions that are offset from a first distance from the front wall. The other end side face includes female connector portions that are registered along the first axis with the male connector portions and are offset from the first distance from the back wall. The male connector portion is for insertion in the female connector portion of another block when the other block is mounted thereon so as to yield a straight or a shifted retaining wall portion.

Abstract: A protective pant comprising an inner pant including at least one first protective member, and an outer pant independent from the inner pant, the outer pant including at least one second protective member and a retaining element for retaining the out pant in place around the inner pant, the first and second protective members cooperating to protect at least one body portion of a wearer.

Abstract: A brick having a peripheral shoulder defining a flange allowing fasteners to be inserted therein when two adjacent bricks have facing indentations is described herein. The peripheral shoulder of the bricks allows mortar to be inserted therein to create a conventional brick look and to hide the fasteners. The shoulder is optionally provided with indentations allowing fasteners therethrough. Also described herein is a machine to manufacture such bricks.

Abstract: A garment having closing means at an open end of a tubular portion thereof. The closing means include a strip with a first end connected to the tubular portion proximate the open end and a second free end. The strip is slidably retained around the open end and the second end includes first retaining means. The closing means also include second retaining means on the tubular portion proximate the open end and defining at least one closing point where the first retaining means is detachably connectable thereto, a distance between the closing point and the first end of the strip being greater than a distance between the first end of the strip and the first retaining means. Upon engagement of the first and second retaining means at the closing point, the strip contracts the open end to an at least partially closed position.
