Abstract: A system in the form of distributed data-processing and communications hardware components is used to enhance patient compliance with instructions for the taking of medications. The system includes a central server and a plurality of remote stations disposed at medication points-of-supply in communication for data transmission to and from the central server. Upon dispensing of a medication to a patient, the remote station transmits information to the central server and the central server receives and stores the information. The information includes at least a telephonic communication address for the patient, the nature of the medication dispensed and the amount and instructed frequency of taking the medication.

Abstract: A stack of at least two layers of an edible film comprising overlying and underlying film layers; each edible film contains a unit dosage of medication; each film within said stack having a unique marking, shape, cut-out, wording, color, texture, or other indicia such that when one or more adjacent and overlying film layer(s) are extracted from said stack the unique marking, shape, cut-out, wording, color, texture, or other indicia of the adjacent and overlying film layer(s) alone or in combination with one or more underlying film layer(s) inform a user of whether an appropriate dosage has been extracted.

Abstract: An accessory provides a chair, having a seat and four legs, with a rocking facility. The accessory includes a pair of rockers, each having a longitudinally curved underside and a furrowed upper side sized to receive the legs. The accessory also has a pair of spaced rungs spanning the rockers. Also included is a strap for encircling the rungs and the seat to detachably secure the legs to the furrowed upper side of the rockers.
